What’s left for them to do?
China dropped the diplomatic niceties Tuesday and labelled Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s official meeting with the Dalai Lama “disgusting conduct.”
Foreign ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told reporters in Beijing: “This kind of disgusting conduct from Canada has seriously hurt Chinese people’s feelings and seriously undermined Sino-Canadian relations.”
So China’s mad at us… what are they going to do about it? Poison our pet food? Put lead in our childrens’ toys? Maybe they’ll send us chickens infected with a terrible disease, or package our vegetables with E-Coli? Really, at this point, what’s left, short of bombing us outright?
