I was right, of course
The perpetrators were Muslims, or “Asians” as they’re called in Britain. It didn’t stop my usual Muslim/Muslim-Apologist commenters from telling me that I’m hate-filled, instead of looking in the mirror at their own hate-filled religion.
“Clearly, the Muslim community is very shocked. These individuals were under the influence and this was a random act, but it may well be that some good can come out of it.
“Michael is making a good recovery and he should be back home early next week. He doesn’t want to castigate the whole community, he feels this is an isolated incident.
Christian forgiveness… I wish I had it, but I don’t.

“Clearly, the Muslim community is very shocked” - Bullshit.

You mean it wasn’t crazed Shinto fanatics? How could my racist heart have been so wrong?

This “Asian” thing is getting really old. I travel to China on business quite a lot (I’m there now), and the ordinary Chinese people are the most civil, friendly, peaceful people on earth. How dare the Brits use the same word for these Pakistani Muslim fanatics.

You should link to the updated report, it’s still linking back to the initial report where it only calls the men “Asian”.
So, you were right, good for you. My problem is that you assumed from the start that they were Muslim. Had they not turned out to be Muslim, you had already planted the seed…in fact, just added to the common belief…that Muslims are out to hurt everyone. Have you ever seen the following story?

Go ahead and call me an apologist, to me it is nothing more than a meaningless label. But I can’t put it more simply: Islam does not tell its followers to go insult and beat up any one, let alone a preacher of the same God that is at the root of Islam as well.
Girl, you’re not part of the problem with Muslims, but neither are you part of the solution.
