THE rejection of a proposal to build a large Islamic school in western Sydney will taint Australia’s multicultural image, the Islamic Council of NSW says.
And another Islamic think-tank has called it a “victory for racisim“.

I love how the Executive Director of FAIR pulls that whole never even met a Muslim bullshit. That is so tired. Is there really anyone left on the planet who hasn’t met a Muslim? They’re everywhere! Just walking down the street on an average day, I pass about 100 of them. I talk to about 30 of them. I have regular contact with about 15. I actually like one. Find me someone who has never met a Muslim, and I’ll tell you to take him back to Amish Country.

You know, by responding with “racism” whenever they don’t get what they want, they implicitly affirm that Islam is simply the Arab national ethnic religion and not a faith for all humanity and all times.

How can it be “a victory for racism” if “Muslims… come from more than 65 different ethnic groups”? Doesn’t he mean “a victory for religious intolerance”? He needs to make his mind up.
Mind you, I wish people posting on this site would get to grips with what Arabs are. Islam is far from restricted to them.

Billy HW no offence, but I don’t understand what you mean. What don’t Arabs get? Do you mean they see “Arab” and “Muslim” as interchangeable terms?
Any book will tell you there is no strict and unchanging definition of “Arab”, but no one anywhere thinks it stretches to include Pakistanis and Afghans.
I hate bogus race politics, but surely you have to know who you’re fighting against?

You people seem to be totaly anti-muslims.Islam is not about arabs,afgans or pakistanis!Nor is it about rasicm,terrosim or bin laden!I believe, before rejecting or criticizing or attacking it or any other religion one should First know his/her own religion completely and then study and understand the religion under critism, and then make a final comment depending on his/her own judgement and analytical power…instead of judging from speculations and the actions of any particular sect.
