” Muslims really are thin-skinned, aren’t they?”
You want to confirm the rule of thumb truth of that premise see the crap thrown ant Cat fur:

I’m absolutely awe struck at the tenacity, volume, and vindictive nature of this “defender”…absolutely surreal…from normal Canadian standards.

While there has been no bigger fan & supporter of Mark Steyn than me, I don’t think the title of your posting is helpful. For it feeds into the propaganda that Khurrum Awan & co. are saying about [All] Muslims needing protection against everyone else.
You might find it very enlightening to listen to all 4 hours on Vancouver’s CKNW today, from 3 - 7pm. You can do so here. In the first half hour you’ll hear Mr. Awan state that he speaks for the majority of Muslims in B.C. He doesn’t. Toward the end of the program you’ll hear a Muslim man and then a Muslim woman call in to express how embarrassed they are by the likes of Awan.
You absolutely have the right to say whatever you want and I will always defend your right but in talking in generalities about “us and them”, you just play into the hands of those trying to stamp out our free speech.
