They need to nuke it, and then sow the earth with radioactive nuclear waste so that any lifeform that tries to go there after will also die.

While the “veil” thing is certainly plausible, unless the rapists have actually been caught their motivations can not be firmly established.
But far be it for me to interject facts into your paranoid rant. Please continue.

I cannot believe you included this case, without mentioning that murder would have been much worse, even if the victim was male. That bears repeating often, as U.S. law generally punishes rape more harshly than murder; and the U.S. Supreme Court nearly added the death penalty to it this week.

Zenrage - read the f*ing article (if you can). It has a sentence that states quite clearly “Two men have accused him [sic] of not wearing the veil.†Assuming that the translation screwed up and said “him” instead of her, then the motive is quite obvious for anyone who has any talent for reading comprehension.
PBL - Personally, I don’t have any problem with rape perpetrators being treated harsher than murderers, except that I’d like to see more murderers be given the death sentence. “Men” who rape serve no useful purpose in today’s society, especially if they are raping children. Yeah, I think rapists of any kind should be given the death penalty on their first offense. It is a pathetic failure of the SCOTUS to have overstepped their bounds and interfere with state’s rights, once again.
