This takes “trimming the bush” to an awkward level

Bristol City Council wants to prune bushes and remove cover from an area known as the Downs to improve the landscape and encourage rare wildlife.

But its own gay rights group has opposed the move, claiming that cutting back the bushes was “discriminating” to homosexual men who used the area for late night outdoor sex known as dogging.

Work on the beauty spot has been temporarily delayed while talks with gay rights groups take place to try and break the deadlock.

Excuse me? You want to fuck in a public park, and you think you have more rights than anyone else? There has long been a practice of staying out of others’ bedrooms, but I don’t ever remember the saying including parks. Here’s an idea - if you want to screw, do it at home, like the rest of us do. Or at least get a car or something.

As for the council even considering listening to these deviants (and I don’t mean homosexuals - I mean people who enjoy fucking where children play), I think that’s most shameful of all.

The area hit the headlines last year when four firemen who disturbed an outdoor gay sex session were reprimanded and fined after they shone torches into the undergrowth.

So long, Britain. I almost welcome the Islamist hordes to your shores at this point. You’ve done nothing to stand up for yourselves in the last 60 years - why should I care about your slow and painful rot?

A report on the plans states: “As part of the consultation, concerns were expressed by the council’s Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Group (and a small number of other consultees) that this action was potentially discriminating against gay and bisexual men, whose activities on this part of the Downs were objected to by other members of the local community and Downs users.”

While I am not a lesbian, nor do I play one on TV, I think I can safely say that as women, the lesbians are pretty unlikely to be fighting for the right to screw in the park. Let’s leave it to the menfolk, shall we?

Update: great minds think alike.

  2. It’s true that people on both sides, male and female don’t think things when they want to screw around.
Homosexuality and bisexuality is an addiction, a sexual addiction that shouldn’t had be given special treatments.
those who are bisexual and homosexual are more easily offended. any dissenting thought is considered hateful.
that’s how the world lost its marbles
What should be kept in the privacy of one’s bedroom, is meant to remain there.
    I rest my case. . .
    Case closed.

  4. I live in Bristol, quite near the Downs,

Why is your piece premised on the idea that only gays enjoy outdoor sex?

Why do you drag in “children” if people are doing things out of sight?

Has it ever occurred to you, that the “bush-trimming” campaign might have unconfessable intentions?

The Downs is not “a park” in the usual sense. It’s hundreds of acres of grass and trees and bushes alongside Avon Gorge.

Why the prudery? Look around any newsagents. How is it possible for anyone not to know what sex is, or what it looks like? Little kids ask Mummy: “What’s “anal sex”?”

Around 2% of British residents are Muslims. Why the talk of “hordes”?

You may be too young to remember, but Britain, France and Israel went to war in 1956 to retain the Suez Canal in Western hands. Eisenhower threatened to wreck our economy, while the USSR threatened to nuke us. “Malaya” mean anything to you? “The Falkland Islands”? Bosnia? Iraq I & II? Afghanistan? ANYTHING???

    You win a free Brazilian Wax… >:-}

Considering Canada has relied on another country for its defence for the last 60 yrs you should be careful what you say about Britain. Our forces would, thanks to successive Liberal governments, be hardpushed to defend PEI.

And lets not forget the HRCs where PC feminazi muzzie lovers are helping to bring sharia creep to Canada. McAsswipe tried it and got shot down by muslim women.
