All good things must come to an end
This is my last weekend at Argghhh! and it rather saddens me. I’m sad that this is my last Saturday. I’m sad that Wednesday will be my last market day. Can’t believe how quick these five weeks have gone by. Markets, goat wrastling, tons and tons of feces, baby chicks (including one we couldn’t save)… I have adapted to this life with ease. I love it here, and when I think of the dreadful Toronto subway, I cringe knowing I have to go back. Today we had “traffic”, a tractor in the middle of the road… Not like the 5 million people in the Greater Toronto Area! Yes, I like pedicures, but I really prefer straw and chicken feed. Who knew?

The open plains and Mother Nature will do that to you,my dear. I live in Wichita and in just a few minutes, I am in the wide open country. Up to Yoder and all the Mennonite Shops and Markets!!!!!!!!!
To Cheney for the county fair!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born and raised in Hugoton,Kansas. I moved to Liberal, Kansas to go to school and work. A few years ago I had to move to Hutchinson, Kansas. While I like other places and have really enjoyed the mountain states, I have always been at home in Kansas. I love hunting Pheasant with my cousins and watching the seasons. The sky at night is beautiful to behold and the weather is changable. We have wind and tornados once in a while, a lot of ice and some snow in the winter and rain in the spring and fall. You picked a good year to come to Kansas and I hope you were able to see many of the sights that are here. There are good decent people in this state and I am sure you met many of them. Maybe even some of my relatives. There are many different parts of our state that have different climate and sights. Come back sometime soon and explore some more. All in all, I’m glad you enjoyed your time here!

We could not ask for a better guest! Both John and I will miss you and Bug. In fact, the chickens, goats and dogs and cats will miss you too - the horses, not so much!
I still have to take you into Kansas City so you can see the Country Club Plaza and Westport and the Liberty Memorial.
You have an open invitation to visit anytime you want!
