They call us fly-over country on the coasts and try to dismiss us as rubes with no knowlege of the real world but they could learn a lot from regular folks. Most people I know have a great deal more life experience than the perfumed, blow dried, out-of-touch elites on the coasts. kansans, and midwesterners in general are genuine and tollerant people who just want to be left alone to do their thing and ask only for help from fellow citizens when disaster strikes. The rest of the time we can and will get by on our own and wish others would try to do so as well. Glad you have been to Kansas and hope you get to see more of the state and it's people while you're here.
