Whither Warren Kinsella?
Or Burny Farber or any of the other pro-Israeli Torontonians?
I expect to see Burny Farber and Frank Diamante out this Sunday afternoon. I want to see Michael Ignatieff out there, too. And if Warren Kinsella is back from Ottawa, I demand he be there. Time to do a little pushing back, and if it means standing side-by-side with a hater like me, tough shit. If the fight for freedom of speech in Canada has taught me nothing else, it has taught me that sometimes you have to stand next to people you wouldn’t otherwise associate with. Life is harsh - buy a helmet, dude.
Put your balls out for the world, boys. I have. Don’t worry, you can cower behind me if you need to.

Someone should inform Churches in the area. I know many evangicals that would go. Catholics as well.
Time we stood up for the G-D of Abraham , Isaac & Jacob. For the law & prophets. Whom Christians believe where fulfilled in the Christ or Messiah. I bet there are plenty of Messianic Jewish congregations as well.

Thing is, Kinsella considers himself a friend of Israel (will give benefit of doubt in this case), so why haven’t we seen him? Time for him to come outside into the cold and face the hordes. Time to be the anti-Sid.

As I posted on Ezra’s site earlier today, Burny farber and his CJC buddies are not familiar with being “Jewish on the ground” in canada anymore. I then suggested they interview any yarmulke-wearing Jewish males about recent experiences on the Toronto subway.
RG, I’ll be there on Sunday because I have one of those faces that “advertises” my Jewishness with or without a yarmulke (for the record, I forego religious garb of any sort but wear a gold Star of David on a chain around my neck). I could tell you a few thinghs about the reality of being “Jewish on the ground” in Toronto in 2009. But as I posted at Levant’s site, I am fortunte to be built like the proverbial brick sh!thouse and usually wear a “Don’t f*ch with me ‘cuz I f*ck back really hard” look on my face, a remnant of my years in the military. Suffice to say that Muslim males are cowards (remember how they hide behind women and children!).

Senior Ignatieff Liberal’s “cat meat” comment offends the Chinese community
Chinese Canadian Conservative Association calls on Liberal leader to fire Senior Liberal strategist Warren Kinsella
Toronto – Alex Yuan, chair of the Chinese Canadian Conservative Association called on Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff to distance himself from the comments made by senior Liberal strategist Warren Kinsella. In a recent blog posting Kinsella likened the meat found in Chinese cuisine to cat meat.
“Back in the Big Owe for a couple weeks, so what better way to kick things off than with some BBQ cat and rice at the Yang Sheng, hangout of our youth? Yay!”
Kinsella repeated the offensive comment in a video posting on his website.
“Our community is deeply concerned with Mr. Kinsella’s comments. Kinsella repeats the most vulgar and offensive stereotypes by associating the meat served by Chinese restaurants to cat meat. He has hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and disrespected the Chinese culture,” continued Yuan.
“This is not the first instance of such intolerant remarks by Mr. Kinsella therefore we call upon Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff to fire Mr. Kinsella as his senior strategist and apologize to the community.”
Mr. Kinsella was forced to apologize for another intolerant blog posting in 2007. In the 2007, he wrote a post suggesting that Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa MacLeod would rather bake cookies than run for office.
