Post-palooza Roundup: Afgahanistan, Sudan, UK and Points Between

Fellow Toronto blogger Damian Brooks (who we interviewed here on Brass Balls Radio) has made it to Afghanistan.

Damian writes:

The information that we’ve been receiving, the treatment and access we’ve been given, the professionalism and motivation we’ve been shown has all been extraordinary. To be honest, it’s been like trying to drink from a fire hose from oh-dark-thirty until the wee hours every day.

The only problem has been connectivity. And we’ve finally figured out a work-around for that so that I can post: I’m using a welfare computer and a memory stick with my photos on it. A bit labyrinthine, but it’s better than gun-tape and baling wire. And I guess I have something to feed into Lessons Learned after all…

So excited for you, Damian. Wish I could be there, too!

killing “American unbelievers” was honorable

Another fine member of the Religion of Peace™ from Sudan tells us he’s innocent of murdering an American diplomat (but boy he wishes he had).

Mohamed Makkawi Ibrahim Mohamed [I'd lock him up just for that name. He's a danger to society with a name like that.] is one of five men accused of murdering John Granville, a 33-year-old officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development, and his driver, Abdelrahman Abbas Rahama, 39.

Both were shot dead while returning home from New Year’s Eve celebrations in Khartoum early on January 1 2008 in a crime that shocked Westerners in the capital, previously seen as one of Africa’s safest cities.

“Killing American unbelievers is an honor, but I was not involved in this case,” Mohamed Makkawi told Khartoum north court.

During cross-examination from the judge, he said he had been tortured into confessing to the crime and had never met three of the other defendants before seeing them in prison.

Love those open borders!

An illegal immigrant who was due to be deported from the UK for a third time, has been jailed for five-and-a-half years for the rape and beating of a teenage girl.

Peter Delisser, 36, from Jamaica, came to Britain 12 years ago under the name Peter Cohen, and lived in the country illegally after marrying British woman Sally Weir, with whom he has two young sons.

Delisser was deported in 1999 but slipped back into the UK under the same name.

He was deported a second time but came back again in October 2001, calling himself Richard Hutchinson.

Despite being already married, he married a second woman but was arrested and jailed for bigamy in 2005.

He was due to be deported after his release from the four-month prison sentence but managed to evade the attention of the authorities for long enough to rape his 18-year-old victim, with whom he had formed a relationship.

Click the above link to the article to see why he shouldn’t have been let in the first time, calling himself “Cohen”. The likelihood of his Kosher-ness would have been up for questioning if someone had actually done their goddam job. The government and the Home Office are as responsible for the rape and beating of that girl as this monster is.

Portland’s queer mayor/pillar of the community is a pedophile.

Adams made his comments to WW on Monday at 4 pm as it was preparing to publish a story updating a story from September 2007 about Adams and Breedlove, a legislative intern whom Adams met in 2005 when Breedlove was 17.

In that original story, both insisted their relationship was platonic in 2005. But today, Adams said in a telephone interview from Washington DC that the original story was untrue. He said they had sex after Breedlove turned 18 in June 2005.

“I want to publicly acknowledge I made a mistake and apologize for it,” said Adams, who is in DC for the presidential inauguration tomorrow of Barack Obama. “In the past, I’ve characterized my relationship with Beau Breedlove as purely non-sexual and that is not true.”

Stay tuned for NAMBLA to argue that because the intern was in his late teens, it’s all perfectly legal, no coercion, blah blah. It’s a Democrat thing, not a gay thing. All that intern-fucking and lying. I guess it all depends on what the definition of “is” is.

  1. I am appalled that NAMBLA even exists.

Let me get this straight. Gitmo is anti human rights, but NAMBLA is just fair expression? This is the reality that we exist in. A reality that baffles me.

Wendy, Omar Khadr will released at some point. And I am convinced that Harper will, as a gesture of good will with the new American administration, eventually accept Khadr back into Canada. It is inevitable.

Please track this and report on whatever developments occur.

Gathering publicly to condemn Hamas in Gaza and support Israel is certainly a worthwhile thing to do. But this Khadr thing strikes much closer to home.

It apals me that miscreant could ever touch Canadian soil again. (Incidentally, my spell-check shows that ‘appals’ with one l is correct - but I still think it looks better with two.)

I’m sure it will happen (Khadr coming back to Canada, to wallow in our welfare programs and ludicrous multiculti sensibilities, that is) but the bigger the outcry, the bigger the media coverage. I promise to be there if there is any public assembly in TO.

Please let us know what you know as it happens.

And thanks for keeping the faith. I read you all the time and admire you greatly.

  3. Actually the Portland mayor is nota pedophile since 17 year olds have already entered puberty. I believe the correct term is ebophile but i’m not sure. But anyways, the point is that there were plenty of 17 year olds and even younger people who used to get married in the states as well as throughout various cultures. The point is it’s illegal but not a disease. Furthermore what does his homosexuality have to do with anything? Next time there’s a straight pedophile, which is a lot more often of course, will the article read “breeder” pedophjile?

  4. I know a Jamaican named Cohen. It’s actually a pretty common name down there. Look at this phone directory:
