At least I didn’t have kids
Last year, when I was broke and facing eviction. I really don’t know what I would have done if I had a couple of toddlers hanging off me. Even with all your help.

As background, Rick was a working journalist for a big company until about two weeks ago, when he was replaced with an unpaid intern. Thankfully this means he can take some time to devote to his blog, where he’s able to write way better stuff than he ever was permitted at the paper.
