I’m with the banned

I just got back from The Event They Couldn’t Stop™ in London, Ontario. I am beat, exhausted, have had my thinking turned upside down, and I think I owe someone $500 for a leprechaun.

In the meantime, I leave you with this vague reference to an even vaguer inside joke, which I will explain tomorrow/later/after sleep.

  3. It was a wonderful way to spend a Monday evening. Ezra, Salim, and Kathy were just fantastic!

The place holds 600 and there were few empty seats (apparently Ezra says one organizer said the count was 580). I was a tiny bit disappointed when I walked in the auditorium to see it was already nearly full! We had to sit way up at the top — but who can gripe about success! And there was no problem hearing everybody — the acoustics were quite good in there.

Next time they’ll need an even bigger location.

  4. It was well worth the drive and the late night, even though my 5:30 alarm hurt like hell! I think the event could only be called an unqualified success!

Good to see you again, Wendy. And nice to meet you, Winston.

  5. Don’t forget to email your “letter to the editor” to the London Free Press regarding the absence of any reporter at the event.

Great to meet you in person RG, and also to to re-aquaint with Scott Reckter from Sarnia way, and Fenrus Badwulf and Mapmaster form London Fog.
Fenrus should be on the Editorial staff of the frigging leftist London Free Press.

    Cheers!

  6. On behalf of the Forest City Institute, thanks to all who attended, twittered, blogged, or didn’t drink throughout the event. It was a huge success…who knew that little old London could bring out 600 pro-freedom right-leaning folks. The next big event will be Ann Coulter speaking at UWO either in November or February!

  7. Hi Wendy

Just got back from Ezra’s book signing in Toronto, unfortunately I arrived after he gave, what I’m told by an Indigo staff member, was a very well received talk lasting about 20 minutes.
I couldn’t stay long but it looked like a successful engagement for Ezra.
I gave him a couple of red “Infidel” hats and he was kind enough to sign my copy of “Shake Down”

I had an extra hat or two with me in case you were out of bed.
Thanks again, and keep up the great work.
