The Miss USA Brouhaha

I weigh in over at Examiner. Remember, you click, I get paid.

In response, however, Miss USA judge and openly homosexual Perez Hilton called Prejean a “dumb bitch” and has been wailing about it for days. His blog has an image of Miss Prejean at the pageant and in place of the microphone that originally appeared in the image, Mr. Hilton has drawn in a penis near Prejean’s mouth. Very classy.

I expect a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth over this one, but really… who cares?

  1. Prejean’s answer was her answer. One should never get bent out of shape over such things. Hilton is an idiot, and before berating the lady in such marren he should consider the fact that many people feel exactly the same as she, EVEN perhaps every other contestant there. THEY weren’t subject to his question so we’ll never know… but Miss Califoria was and suffered the consequence. That question should not have been asked. Mr. Hilton should apologize. Partisan questions such as these should not be asked. MY QUESTION is how does someone like him get to be a pagent judge in the first place?

  2. It was a perfect beauty pagaent response. I’m happy gays can get married we’re a land of choice, but I believe marriage is between man and woman, and it’ll bring world peace! Who the Hell cares.

  3. The fact that Mr. (and I use that term very loosely) Perez was a judge speaks to the sorry need of the Pagent’s organizers to peg a celebrity name to their roster as opposed to someone who actually has substance. I predict a substantial backlash. Mr.(Ms?) Hilton will, I am sure, come out on the bad end of this controversy. In any event, the victim, given her obvious biological advantages, will go on, marry whoever the heck she wants (no man in his right mind would recoil from her) and live a very productive and principled life. And anyway, what did she expect - That she was being judged on her intellect and ethics? She never would have been there if she wasn’t top-notch eye candy. I don’t feel sorry for her as much as I feel sorry for America and the superficial, valueless travesty that it has become.

  4. Don’t worry, this is not a gay/straight thing. More than a few hard working, tax-paying type gays can’t stand this guy or what he stands for either.

  5. What INP said.

Homosexuals are sexually handicapped and they’re openly bitter about it. Especially after that stark reminder of Prejean in that white bikini. She had to be punished for whoever it was that punished him at birth.

  6. While 97% of normal males are rewarded with a little warm comfy heaven in the cradle of life, he got a shithole.

  7. There are only two things that matter about it:

    1) The minimal “good for her for not pandering” which shouldn’t be noteworthy.
    2) That miserable POS’s ability to make everyone flinch. The fact that he does this to set an example of the “public” (i.e. his) ridicule that people will face if they dare step from the party line (AND that it works) is pretty frightening.

The problem is that people really are, in exceptionally large measure, beyond tolerant of lifestyles that differ from their own. But when you get some miserable shitbag from the ‘world needs to treat me as god because Mommy never hugged me’ committee able to foam at the mouth with the venomous intolerance he claims to hate, and do so unchallenged, people look on and start to wonder if that’s a prevalent view (I submit INP’s comment as evidence.)

    He’s not a majority. He’s just a scumbag.

  8. So next year we can expect contestants to be asked their opinions on abortion? How about stem cell research? Guns? The stimulus package?

  9. Not sure where i read/heard this, but essentially she got canned from the competition for saying exactly the same thing the newly elected president said in the debate.
