What has really lent itself to Mark Steyn’s greatness is that he doesn’t have the pretentiousness a formal education often brings. Whether that was a stroke of luck or part of a master plan only he can say for sure.
He obviously enjoys listening to himself and who can blame him? Apart from dull witted HRC bureaucrats and humour-challenged religious fanatics, don’t we all?
It’s amazing that one of those struggling US TV networks (the CBC is too dense) hasn’t offered him a huge contract years ago. His humour and insights are just what’s needed in order to boost their rapidly sinking ratings, as well as their credibility.
