You were warned
If you haven’t listened to Mark Steyn host this week’s Brass Balls Radio (bless his heart for agreeing to do it), click here to get the podcast. Steyn has made a career out of demography and explaining to us how our multi-culti squishyness would one day come back to bite us in the ass.
Well, his favorite hatemonger, Kathy Shaidle, writes further on the subject over at Examiner:
Brienholt notes that Muslim employment discrimination claims increased after the first World Trade Center attacks in 1993. He proposes two theories to explain why: the “Innocent Bystander” theory (Muslims felt distrusted and uncomfortable in American workplaces after both WTC attacks); and the “Political Islam” theory (Muslim activists are exploiting U.S. civil rights laws to push an extremist agenda).
He believes the “Political Islam” theory is the correct one, and that many Muslims are engaged in a non-violent campaign to spread extreme Islam through American workplaces as a sort of “stealth jihad” (to use scholar Robert Spencer’s expression for the phenomenon.)
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Well, we here in the West were warned that this would happen, and we’ve seen it with our own lyin’ eyes time and again, but yet the militant “refugees” continue to flood into our countries. We will pay and pay for perceived insults, and not nearly enough of us (exceptions like Maclean’s Magazine publisher Ken Whyte and free speech mouthpiece Ezra Levant, both here in Canada) are pushing back for fear of being called racists or of offending some oh-so-delicate Muslim sensibility.
You’ve been warned. So now what?
The political Islam theory is something I’ve never thought about, but makes total sense to me. As far has having a fear of offending…anyone, the last time I was afraid of offending someone was back in March of never.

Wow he should have his own show. He was right on about Islam being not the only danger. Its just filling a vacum we have created by moral cowardice.

Got caught up on Steyn’s stint on BB Radio. That dude is fantastic. Not a bad singer either!
Now to get that marshmallow ditty out of my head..

I have maintained for a while now that the Political Islamist will kill us with our own sword. Our sword being freedom and the rule of law. My hopes are that we as a culture recognize this and patch the wounds long enough to fight back.

Thanks to political correctness and multiculturalism (The Multicultural Act, to be precise), the 7th century barbaric practices of every Muhammed, Abdul and Ali is now apparently equal to my own. No its not - I’m from Scotland, not some flea infested desert where men are men and the camels are nervous. Or is it the women who are nervous? And they have every righ to be, what with all those “honour” killings, female genital mutilation, wife beatings for the slightest reason, dressing from head to foot and not having access to education, not to mention being executed for adultery - or for being a rape victim, to be precise. I’m astonished that women haven’t gone extinct in the world of Islam. Then the Muhammedians (as I call them) will have to please themselves (or each other) and go the way of the Dodo. While William Wallace was driving the English out of old Alba, Ali and his pals were living in tents and herding goats and sheep. Indeed Scotland contributed enormously to the development of the West, but that’s another story.
The problem is, Canadians are just TOO nice. While we are outraged by a bigamist from Bountiful, British Columbia (who doesn’t believe in Jihad), Muslim men bring four wives into the country. One is the “official” wife, while the others are treated as single women and given separate government assistance. Nice one Abdul, now you can have you harem AND outbreed us all at a rate of 8 to 1. There is now a million muslims in Canada. Mosques are sprouting up everywhere, including a super mosque in Calgary, and Abdul and his pals are demanding (not merely asking) that Sharia Law be implemented here, as well as demanding land so they can build their own closed Muslim communities. Not all Muslims are like this of course. Many come here to escape from the fanatics that are now following them to the Big Country.
This presents a BIG problem for Canada’s brainless multicultural policy. You see, Muhammed and his pals don’t want to be Canadians. Nice words like “inclusiveness” and “integration” are not part of the Muhammedian psychology. But “death to the infidels,” resonates rather better with them. For a religion of peace, they are pretty big on death. Why do we criminalize pastors for speaking out against militant homosexuals, but refuse to deal with treasonous Imans who preach hate against everyone in Canada who isn’t a Muslim?
The lefties who have royally screwed Canada, have allowed themselves to be efeminized by political correctness. Everyone from activist judges, liberal politicians and the entire staff of the CBC, don’t want to tackle the serious problem of certain immigrant groups who DO NOT want to integrate, but haven’t a clue how to go about it lest they be accused of racism. My attittude to other immigrants who refuse to respect Canada’s histyory, culture, flag and institutions is this, “if you hate it here so much then pack your bags and get out.”
Remember when our former prime minister, that comic opera dictator called Jean Chretien, stated that Canada would never be attacked by terrorism becuase we are a multicultural society? I wonder if the 17 suspected (Muslim) terrorists from Toronto gave him pause for thought? That is, if the buffoon CAN actually think.
I would challenge anyone here to check out the vidoes on YouTube and see just what Radical Islam is doing to France, England, Denmark and Holland. Then tell me that our nice lefty, touchy feely, clueless, politically correct, multicultural society will protect us from the same?
