Brass Balls Roundup: Your Words

A couple of very opposing comments:

Well, gotta run: I’m off to steynonline.com to order Lights Out. Good luck in any attempt to *ever* follow that act!

Mark Steyn is ok; good points on liberty, funny songs, stories, etc. BUT, Mr. Steyn is NO Wendy Sullivan!!

  1. Just clarification: I never meant my comment to be a shot at Wendy’s hosting abilities. She and Mike always do a great job! I just wished to express that for this anniversary program, guest host Mark Steyn did a stellar job worthy of the special occasion.

  2. Yes, Steyn was fun - could have done with a little less of the name dropping and at least two of the songs were unforgivable - one of them sounded like the crooner was reading his shopping list and the other one sounded like a 1920s session band doing their usual schtick. The death of those songs has nothing to do with “political correctness” and everything to do with the fact that they are sh!t.

Mind you I like his politics a lot.

  4. Thanks for the show Wendy and Mark. I especially enjoyed “Marshmallow World” at the end.

So when do we get a Mark and Wendy duet? How about Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran?

  5. Ahoy Wendy and DJ Ein Steyn: Bravo sports! Perfect, insightful, natural, fun and damn entertaining. I want Songs For Swingin’ Sexists! Dug the Buddy Greco[?] sounds. All I needed was some beehive air hostess’s and the right wallpaper to make the scene! I listened to Mark in my bath and how he got in my bath… Again, thankyou for the witty conservative libertarian rationalist lifeline all the way to far off inner-city Melbourne in Australia. So that’s where I am? Colonel Robert Neville blogspot com.

  6. WHY ON EARTH does Mark Steyn NOT have his own radio show ?!?

    He’s brilliant and compulsively fascinating.

Even if it’s just a weekly one, get him on the air more often, please.
