All Muslim children should be removed from their homes
That’s right. Perhaps we could even send them to “residential schools”. You know, give them a fair shot at becoming a more integrated part of the Canadian cultural mosaic.
No? Bad idea? Unconstitutional? It will never fly?
Why not? These kids in many (if not all) cases are being taught to hate Canada, hate Canadians, hate infidels, loathe Jews, commit acts of violence…
HADITH Sahih Bukhari [4:52:176] : Allah’s Apostle said, “You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, ‘O ‘Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.’ “
How dare we discriminate on the basis of faith, belief or color of flesh? If these parents (abhorrent though they may be) can have their daughter taken away for learning and espousing their belief system, then certainly all children raised in Muslim homes are in danger.
Disagree? Why?

You’re right. If you raise your children in a death-cult that murders you for leaving and forces all females into prostitution, also under threat of death, then you’re by definition unfit. Of course, I think people who send their kids to public schools are also necessarily unfit parents, so…

Ha ha, Canadians are running around frantically trying to build a shelter to protect themselves from the rain when they should be building ramparts and weapons to defend against the hungry blood thirsty predators.
White people are so funny. They persecute white racists who wish them no harm and purposefully ignore non white racists who want to kill. No wonder the white race is dying out.

It would not happen in today’s politically correct climate in which Muslims are granted status as perpetual victims while the supposed victimizer class consists only of whites.
The Canadian judicial system is discriminating against those parents on the basis of their skin colour and belief system.
Those swastika-drawing parents are entitled to full and equal rights under Canadian law. If they are denied their rights, then each one of us can be denied our rights.

If only the Neo-Nazis thought far enough in advance to achieve the status of a “religion,” they’d be able to use it as a beard just as !slam does.
!slam is not a religion and the sooner we “understand” this the better.

Odious as they may be, these people are being discrimnated against based solely on thier beliefs and what they are teaching their children. And even more pathetic, comments are shut down for articles about this on CBC, G&M, etc… — so I guess not only is teaching your children your beliefs outlawed (as long as you are not a member of a minority group of sopme flavour), so is allowing people to discuss this and converese about the right/ wrong of this sutation.
Yay.
Go Canada.

Lets see now….
We remove children from parents who are either white supremists or white seperatists (there IS a difference) and turn them into criminals for teaching racial hatred. Muslim children in Canada, however, are taught that Jews are “pigs and dogs” and that Christians everywhere should be put to death. Yes, here in multicultural, politically correct Canada we have Imans preaching hatred against anyone and everyone who is not Muslim. Yet no one in authority dares to even question them, let alone prosecute them under our “hate crime” laws.
Then we have the odd case of a bigamist in BC who is being taken to court for having multiple wives, but we turn a blind eye over Muslims in Canada doing the same thing? Double standards, double standards and more double standards.

Wendy, my love, you are as right as summer rain. Alas, Canadians (or Canadiens, if you prefer), as well as those of us south of your border are simply far too “civilized” to protect those children from the fate they are careening toward. Similarly, we are far too decent and civilized to declare the cult and its’ culture of death as unwelcome and/or against the law.
I mean, we would not have a pretender sitting in the seat at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave if it were so….

“Why not? These kids in many (if not all) cases are being taught to hate Canada, hate Canadians, ”
You could say the same for the children of any type of extremists.
It is a form of child abuse exposing intellectually immature and gullible kids to anti social radical ideologies. But what parents teach their children is none of our business. Unless of course you want the state intruding further than it already has into the family.

Yeah.. I’m a muslim child.. Remove me from my home! That won’t make me come home from a private school in Toronto every day surrounded by Jews, Christians, Hindus and other Muslims and plot to bomb the world. Hmm.. Yes, you heard right. I’m a terrorist. Not just because the Quran was based on the times of Prophet Muhammad (about 1500 years ago..) and Muslims had to defend themselves because of them being prosecuted. No.. Not just because many of these “Hadith” sources are probably false and do not have proper quotes by the Holy Prophet Muhammad. I Hate the Canadian society, although I guarantee I have family that’s been here longer than yours.. I truly hate all people that are not Muslim and I will give up my life (which is probably going to turn out better than yours as I will most likely get into Harvard) to be a martyr for Muslim extremists who get all media attention and who are not even a percentage of the muslim population.
I’m truly touched that you have an entire page dedicated to my cause! Oh and when I’m interning at United Nations Offices in Nairobi this summer while helping kids, I’ll make sure to visit this blog often and see what you’re doing for the betterment of society! Keep up the good work!
GET REAL! This page must be a JOKE! LMAO..
Anyways, take it easy… I’ll be the better man on this one. Oh and.. Daym you conservative girls are HOT.

Jamal
Care to point out which “Hadith” sources you are probably calling false.
Yes your cult is based on a 1500 year old doctrine, only problem is it has not caught up to the rest of the world in moderate modern day thinking.
Perhaps you can study this at Harvard ( Islam and the stealth jihad 101 )
Oh, interning at the UN is akin to interning at K Mart.
However i have respect for the people at K Mart, after all they have a worth while job.
Care to debate on the Quran or Hadith…post here.
Gotcha!

Hmmm….
An interjection, if I might.I couldn’t disagree more that Muslim children should be removed from their homes, but I can’t agree with Jamal’s facile response either. I’ll be charitable and suggest that he (a) feels picked on and (b) needs to delve a little deeper.
Jamal, as you know the Qu’ran is supposedly the exact word of G-d received by Mohammed in the famous Encounter in the Cave. The Hadith are the history of his life, deeds and sayings, as recorded by his followers. The sources are not ‘dubious’ Jamal, as most of these people are known to history, any ‘blasphemy’ would have been removed by the Omayyad Caliphs and banned and the various Hadiths correlate to a great degree…they fulfill the same function in Islam of the Gospels.
I (and most historians) would likewise disagree with your contention that violent, infidel hating verses in the Qu’ran and Hadiths date from “the times of Prophet Muhammad (about 1500 years ago..) and Muslims had to defend themselves because of them being prosecuted.”
It’s just the opposite.
In fact, if you read the Qu’ran and Hadiths and study the historical material ( and I have) you find that the Qu’ran in particular is not presented in chronological order. Most of the early and more tolerant verses date from the time Muslims actually were persecuted ( if that’s the right term for social disapproval) in Mecca prior to the Hegira, the flight of Mohammed and his followers to the Jewish city of Medina, where he received refuge.
Originally Mohammed planned to convert the Jews to his new religion. When they refused, he paid them back for their hospitality and humanity by sending messengers back to his relatives in Mecca telling them of the rich spoil to be had, and engaged their help in recruiting the army that pillaged Medina and slaughtered his hosts.
Mohammed went onto ethnically cleanse Arabia of all its Jews, and the violent verses in the Qu’ran and Hadiths were inserted at this time, particularly the ones concerning the Jews.
Another thing you are either not aware of or simply aren’t relating is the Islamic Doctrine of Abrogation, which all Islamic schools accept and which states that the later verses take precedence.
My purpose here is not to join people who claim that Islam is a ‘death cult’. It isn’t,( anyone here know anything about the Sufis??) and you are correct in stating that Mohammed was a man of his time, when rapine, slave trading and brigandage were the norm.
However, in order to move beyond Islam’s beginnings and ‘play nicely with others’ Muslims who want to live peaceably and whom do NOT embrace Islam’s original triumphalism and bigotry are going to have to be courageous and take the lead in repudiating those who’s minds are still back in the 7th centruy. Not easy, given the pernicious wahabi influence in the West but perhaps you will be one of those with the guts to do so.
Regards,
Rob

To both above me.
I in fact am not a Sunni Muslim, I am a Shia Ismaili Muslim and my sect of Islam many Sufi beliefs myself tyvm. I am from a sect of Islam that has had an Imam (His Highness the Aga Khan is the Present One) who interprets the Quran and who is a direct descendant from Prophet Muhammad. I wouldn’t expect you to know or understand it. Anyways, my sect of Islam has had an Imam who was the Caliph through most of the Fatimid Empire, probably the most pluralistic empire of the Muslim world. They founded the first university in the world and had scientists and doctors that were much more valued than your Middle-Ages leeches.. As for my sayings onto some of the Hadiths that are quoted in many places. I cannot be sure of any of them as power hungry, corrupt Caliphs and Moulas, Dictators and Ayatolas alike truly change Islam and (i wouldnt be surprised if the Hadith also was changed) to be the fascist religion many people here see it as. I’m just here to clear things up that is.
Islam did not start off as a “death cult” but I agree, many sects have not modernized with the times and still treat women badly. Go onto google and search the Ismaili Muslims or His Highness the Aga Khan. I’m part of a sect of Islam that’s prosecuted by the majority of Muslims. If I was to go to Pakistan and openly voice my beliefs, I would be prosecuted so I truly understand where everyone is coming from.
I would just appreciate if you took a time to not generalize all Muslims as Sunni extremists and researched into the Sufis and Ismailis, other sects which actually hold fast to the original values of Islam such as generosity, pluralism, kindness, etc..
Comment by Jamal Virani — May 31, 2009 @ 9:48 am
Jamal
Who in the above posts is generalizing all muslims as sunni extremists ?
Sufi… that would be the Saudi controlled sect of islam…. you know ,the limb choppers the highways for Muslims and non Muslims the school books for children that state any non Muslim is an ape or pig.
Yes, generosity,pluralism,kindness,etc
Bite me!

I’m glad this post got so much discussion going. However, the point was that the state had arbitrarily decided that these parents’ beliefs were a danger and their child should be taken away. That’s where I called bullshit, pointing to other less-than-favorable belief systems that might also be dangerous.

you guys don’t know what your talking about. i’m born christian and i’m lebanese (Lebanon, the middle east, I’m sure you’ve heard of hizbollah) anyway, islam is not a cult of death and both christianity and islam are based on the same fundamentals. THE MESSAGE IS THE SAME, delivered in a different way. All of you interpret it according to how you’ve been brainwashed to think. i’ve been surrounded my muslims and christians for the past 21 years and i can assure you that muslims are not terrorists. If you visit lebanon you would see that everything you say on this page is bullshit. More than half the population of muslim women are not veiled, drink, lead normal lives and have the same social beliefs as any other human being. You people are seriously wasting your lives thinking too much into this religion thing. There are muslim extremists just as there are christian extremists as well as jews extremists, and those are terrorists. it’s really sad to read the things some of you wrote here, shows how much ignorance and hatred there is in the world. You don’t want to understand anything about people different from you. You weren’t given a choice You were all FORCED into your religion and yet you think you’re better than others? really really sad people, alexb yes forgiveness and kindness and everything else, how would you know? all you know is what you’ve been spoon-fed by your family and your environment; people who know even less than you. Think for yourselves people and try being tolerant to others and stop pretending like you know everything written in the quran and what it means or even whats written on that board with the veiled girl. i highly doubt it refers to guerrilla wars or terrorism or whatever bullshit you came up, and if you can i would really like someone to post the arabic version exactly the way it is without altering it in their favor. Who cares what was written a thousand years ago? the fact is that people in general are thinking differently no matter their religion. It is apparent that you are the ones who are taught in their homes to hate muslims so you should be removed as well? or no its ok to hate muslims because they are wrong and we right? Anyway, stumbling upon this webpage really ruined my evening. it’s a shame

SERIOUSLY you ppl. You keep on ranting how all muslims are brainwashed, women are oprressed and muslim men are slave drivers. Do YOU yourself live a muslim household.
I’m Growing up in Canada wite now. My Sibling were all born in and it is shameful of you to say that muslim parents teach their children to hate non-muslims. Like what the hell. If my parents ever taught any harted to wards any rreligion (other then islam) then i proabably would have beaten up every non-muslim that i saw wouldn’t i have?
Honestly, be ashamed for having such closed minds and listening to the opinions of an ignorant few and adoptign those veiwpoints as your own. be and independaent individual.
I have many friends. LOTS of them are non-,muslim. Some christain, some athiest and a couple agnostic. IF they thought i hated them so much, why ever would they want to be friends with me.
As muslims, We are taught to respect ppl who are different from us. there is a christian on here who commented named SAM. and i’m sure you shoudl read his comment.
Seriosuly, when will you ignorant ppl learn not to be a follower of some other ignorant ppl who think they know more then you and actually form your own opinions?
Do you seriously think that takeing innocent children away from their loving familes is humane?
what is i took away a christain child from his home because i thought that the child was learning that Jesus chirst was gos and i didn’t belive that?wouldn’t you say that it was the parents and the childs choice to belive what they wished? Before you make up lies and justify and spread them as truth, go read up about islam (by muslim NOT christian) and see what exactly about islam that you are hating.
Ignorance will lead to nowhere.
Salam-u alikum to all muslims AND non-muslims out there.
