Tiller the Killer is dead

As I was saying not so long ago, many in the pro-life fight are kind of… insane.

Your methods of persuasion fail on every level, what with the chopped up fetus pictures, and the outright hostility to anyone who doesn’t march in lockstep.

Dr. Tiller was a horrible example of the slippery abortion slope. But he did not deserve to be shot down on his way into a FUCKING CHURCH. Whatever his rationalizations for practicing such a horrific form of medicine, he knew there were holes in his imperfect human soul, and sought to fill those holes with Christ.

And some “pro-life” zealot (the kind who were here not so long ago screeching at me that this is a war!!1!one!!1!) shot him.

Do you insaniacs actually expect further sympathy to the cause now? Because it ain’t going to happen.

No quarter.

  1. Hey Wendy, did you know that your taxes paid for his partial birth abortions?

  2. You mean to say that the Canadian government was funding a Kansas abortionist? Weird.

Still makes whoever shot him a reprobate, though.

  3. The Gov. of Quebec paid to have women sent there to have their children dismembered by this monster. And we all know how much of our federal tax money gets “equalized” to that province. All the more ironic when you consider that Killer Tiller’s own governor didn’t pay her taxes.

    Abortion corrupts everything it touches.

  4. I agree that the whole concept corrupted one deranged lunatic enough to kill someone.

If you think that’s ok, let me know. I personally do not.

  5. Why didn’t the unapologetic baby killer George Tiller deserve to be shot down “on his way into a FUCKING CHURCH?” a.k.a., the Reformation Lutheran Church of Wichita?

Actually, it’s quite fitting that Tiller would be a Lutheran, considering what his master Martin said:

“Be a sinner and sin boldly, but believe and rejoice in Christ even more boldly for he is victorious over sin, death, and the world. As long as we are here in this world we have to sin. This life is not a dwelling place of righteousness”

“No sin will separate us from the lamb, even though we commit fornication and murder a thousand times a day.”

“Whenever the devil harasses you, seek the company of men or drink more, or joke and talk nonsense, or do some other merry thing. Sometimes we must drink more, sport, recreate ourselves, and even sin a little to spite the devil, so that we leave him no place for troubling our consciences with trifles. We are conquered if we try too conscientiously not to sin at all. So when the devil says to you: do not drink, answer him: I will drink, and right freely, just because you tell me not to.”

“The imputation of righteousness we need very much, because we are far from perfect. As long as we have this body, sin will dwell in our flesh. Then, too, we sometimes drive away the holy spirit; we fall into sin, like Peter, David, and other holy men. Nevertheless we may always take recourse to this fact, that our sins are covered, and that God will not lay them to our charge. Sin is not held against us for Christ’s sake.”

“your sin cannot cast you into hell”

    “No sin can harm me”

  6. Wendy, I’m curious: if an American soldier were to kill Osama bin Laden tomorrow in a mosque, what would your reaction be?

(Would you wring our hands and lament that the killing of Osama bin Laden at the hands of a crazy anti-terror zealot would only create more acts of terorism? Would you scream that the killing of Osama bin Laden was a set back for the anti-terror movement?)

  8. Tiller killed unborn babies for a living.

…Now he has been killed, and there is outrage?

That is about as stupid as Morgentaler being awarded the Order of Canada.

  10. Killed Sunday? Huh, I sure hope the Killer prayed to his God for forgiveness. No children will die in Wichita Today for a legal fee of $600. Think about it, he could run, but he couldn’t hide. I am NOT talking about Tiller the Killer, I am talking about the last baby Tiller laid hands on as he killed him. RG, it is legal to kill the most defenseless of us, our babies. Wait till we legalize assisted suicide. I for one would sure as hell get rid of the pillows in my house when I turn 65, especially if a couple of my worthless kids decide they want their inheritance a bit early. Wake Up America!!!

  11. One follow up thought, I see he left behind HIS 4 children & 10 grandchildren. I have to assume this is because an abortion is $600-$1700 and HIS kids are worth more as Tax Deductions than murder victims. I hope his grandchildren never got to know the Monster they will soon know was their late great, grand daddy. Kman

  12. Killing Tiller was wrong. Period, end of statement.

Killing Tiller was a pointless an act as the late doctors life.

Killing Tiller will not change anything other than the location of people getting partial birth abortions. There are other doctors who will perform this procedure. Tillers death will not save lives, those who are obsessed with killing the fruits of their own womb will still be able to find someone willing to do so.

  15. It came as something of a surpise that Tiller was murdered - in a church of all places. Most churches I have frequented over the years would happily allow Tiller to sit and listen to the Gospel message, but would’nt even have him cleaning their toilets, let alone be an usher. Yes, he was murdered, not just “killed.” The problem is, while some may rejoice at his death, the snuffing out of this evil human being (yes he WAS a human being) only heaps the fires of contempt and anger against those of us who a pro-life and peaceful. There will be a thousand more doctors of death ready soon enough to replace Tiller. To change the abortion laws in the USA (and Canada) will take a change in our laws - not the unlawful deaths of abortionists like Tiller no matter how heinous their own acts are against the unborn.

  16. I don’t care what virtuous, noble, motives are subscribed to him by his admirers and himself, I absolutely refuse to beieve that anyone could be motivated to do abortions of late-term, fully formed little humans, day in and day out, without having some black, goulish evil hidden in their heart. Of course they all claim to do it out of a deep respect for women. Yeah, right. How do we know that these men are not motiveted by some sick, perverse, sadistical need to rend, dismember and kill? And, just imagine, this way they get to do it legally, every day, for thier whole lives and get paid big bucks to boot. Wow. Pretty good gig if you’re a twisted monster and can keep a straight face.

  17. INP,

Tiller was a monster, but what about his enablers, those who “understood” that he had a tough job, but that “someone had to do it?”

    Comment by Lex Luther — June 1, 2009 @ 6:58 pm

  18. just think of his death as a REALLY late term abortion

  19. The right is so disorganized it’s hilarious.

Abortion is the symbol, not the goal.

The goal is having communities that support right-wing values only, and encouraging others to leave, while strengthening local and state government so the right can have control over some states — and not be forced to pay for the disasters of leftist states, nor accept their population.

Cheney’s recent federalism shows what a smart idea this is. Let Vermont be liberal, and Texas be conservative, and see where each is in another 20 years of not paying for each other. Among other things, states like Texas will have to trim their budgets and start saying no to people wanting entitlements, who not surprisingly vote overwhelmingly democratic.

Abortion and gay marriage are symbolic issues that need to take a back seat toward having conservative communities where conservatives can do their thing without the decay that liberalism introduces.
