Good day, and my apologies for the intrusion here. I am writing you from the USA (Minneapolis, MN) where I reside. The new Obama administration here will soon be attempting to pass a public health care programme (government administered) to complement our existing private insurance one. As citizens of a nation with a longstanding public programme, I would love to hear from conservative Canadians as to your thoughts on your health care system. What is good, or what do you like about it (if anything)? What is bad, or what would you change about it (if anything)? Your opinions, input, and experiences would be very helpful to me. Wendy, I liked what you had to say.. but no one could beat Ezra’s comments to Sid Ryan.. He held back no punches and I gave Ezra a standing ovation in my living room!!:):)Even Coren was speechless - a rare occasion as Coren had constantly stated Ryan was not an anti-Semite.. yeah………

have often enjoyed your blog - thought you did a great job last night - you and ezra make a formidible team - Sid Ryan looked the buffoon he is - do you ever get a chance to debate that spinsella fella ? - would so enjoy it

Vardit - no one can beat Ezra. I don’t even want to try. I simply genuflect in his presence!
Scanoo - I hope I never have to debate or be on a panel with the Lying Jackal. I don’t dispute that it would be a fun fight, at least until a week later when I get served for saying the wrong thing or sitting in his best light or something. It’s not worth it. In fact, the one time I met him at a blogger party, when I was introduced and he put his hand out, I stepped back. I told him I wasn’t going to risk spilling his scotch or stepping on his shoe or even gripping his hand too tightly for fear of a lawsuit. I excused myself and walked away.
Kinsella is a tool.

so right - any debate with him would be like walking on thin ice - he is SO proud of his law degree, and his lieberal friends - one day he will be hoisted on his own petard - one day - nevertheless you would be a factoid against a spinner - love what you did on that encounter - most of us would wimp out, and unwittingly endorse the a..hole
