Especially with GWB, who was so good on Israeli vs. PLO/Hamas. Of course, I remember reading how many Germain Jews felt German first, and Jewish second. How'd that work out? I think most of them just cannot grasp the fact that people can actually hate to such a degree that they want to kill you. i.e. perhaps Daniel Pearl.
