Best. Rant. Ever.

Thanks so much to blogger and The Delivery host Jimmy Bise for bringing it to my attention!

Eddibear of DoublePlusUndead brings the cussin’ and the hollerin’ to a fever pitch in this rant about being called a “racist” just because you disagree with the policies of a communist black man.

But, since you seem to think that any and all criticism of Obama is racist, let’s run down my racism:
*Gathering in opposition to an attempt to fuck the country up the ass with runaway taxes, government run health care, looming inflation, perpetual 10% unemployment, and more government meddling in our lives is now racist? Good to know.
*Blogging about or discussing said events on the radio or Television is racist? How did I miss that?
*Defending a Congressman who dared to speak out to The One? Fly the Stars & Bars!
*Exposing the dirty dealings of a corrupt “Community Organizing” group by pretending to be a pimp and a hooker, or calling out union thugs for their actions? Get out the White Sheets, Mabel.
*Exposing the shady associations of an avowed Marxist and Truther who potentially was going to have his hand in the middle of a metric assload of money and regulations? Let’s hang out with Fuzzy Zoeller.

I could go on, but that is only a fraction of the racist activities I have been associated with, and I believe you get the point.

I’ve been saying pretty much the same thing for the past few months, and adding that if you so desperately want to belive that pro-Constitution Americans are really racist, you’d better duck and cover if they decide to take you up on that epithet.

We are screaming and protesting against bad policy - we are not yelling nigger in a crowded theater. In fact, most of the racism that hits the black community comes from the left, whether it is slavery backed by Southern Democrats, lynchings by friends of Democratic Senator Robert Byrd, or the soft racism of low expectations that comes from affirmative action. Welfare is a bigger form of racism than anything that comes from the so-called racist right.

If you want to call me a racist, go for it. I don’t care. Really. If I cared, I would have given up this blog a long time ago. If a racist is someone who points out the truth, then I’m a racist. If a racist is someone who opposes bad policy, then I’m a racist. If a racist is someone who notices that there really are differences between people of different cultures instead of pretending that a welfare queen is equal to a person who puts themselves through trade school, I’m a racist.

Oh, and fuck you.

  1. Seems to me, the only ones yelling the ‘N’ word are the liberals in defense of Obama trying to claim we are.

Then again, where were they when Condoleeza Rice, Michel Steele, J.C. Watts, Star Parker, Clarence Thomas and other conservative Blacks were being lambasted in the media and on TV because of their race.

    Hypocrits?

    You betcha!

  2. Is it about policy or race to say “[Obama] hates white people and white culture” and that all the auto sector, banking sector and healthcare spending is “all about reparations”?

Is it about policy or race to call Obama an “Indonesian muslim [...] racist in chief”?

Is it about policy or race to carry pre-printed mass produced placards with Obama in a African tribe gear, or telling him to “Go back to Africa”?

And that is from the most public leaders of these protests like Glen Beck and Mark Williams and doesn’t even touch the many whackos out there.

I’ll make two comments to go along with my rhetorical quesions.

    1. The small petty comment is that calling the protests racist because some of the leaders and many of the protestors are overtly racist is like calling Liberals anti-semitic because they attend a rally at which some idiot carries a Hamas flag or a Tamil Tigers flag. Is turnaround fair play? Another rhetorical question.

    2. On a more serious point, I think the protests are mostly not about race actually. Even the idiotic and infantile “Nazi/Stalin” references don’t bug me really - for anyone paying attention, I’d guess pretty much every single protest movement in the US since the 1940s has tried to demonize the then President that way. The US has survived.

But there is a dark reality to this protest movement that I think is unique and could have a more lasting negative effect on the US. The racism is not at the core of these protests but it is there and it is out in the open for many very significant people in this protest. And no one in the protest is even acknowledging it. In fact, the only response at all is to claim it isn’t even there, including in this rant post. And it is getting worse.

I’ll leave it at that, without the civil farewell you have blessed us all with.

  5. Rhetorical question: If W sat in a white separatist church for a couple decades would you not be saying W hates black people and black culture?
Oh that’s right W IS a racist, he made Katrina go to New Orleans remember? Minister Farrah-Con wouldn’t lie would he?

SIMPLE TRUTH: We don’t agree with his policies.

We know socialism is a failure every where it is tried. We don’t want constant high unemployment, exploding deficits and a weaker America. We believe his policies if pushed through will destroy our economy and our country as we know it and we will not sit idly by and accept it, nor will we keep a civil tongue. Civil political discourse is just a polite way of saying S T F U.

    Disagree with Barry = racist.
Disagree with Barry at a protest rally = racist.
Disagree with Barry while talking w/co-workers = racist.
Label the opposition as racist no matter what they do or how they voice their protest. Yeah I read Saul Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals, and I strongly recommend every one go to the library and check it out. That ‘dark reality’ comment is a back handed way of labeling protesters as racist.

I have been to 4 protests and have yet to see anything like described above. I have never been unwelcome, instead I have been welcomed and accepted as just another face in the crowd. There is no racism at the core of these protests, and it is definitely “not out in the open for many very significant people in this protest.”

Just like BO I am of mixed blood just not 50/50 like him. My wife is black (actually closer to milk chocolate brown) and our children are brown. I have a rhetorical question : Am I or my wife a racist? I already know the answer because the liberal mind will just refer to me/us as “house nigger, uncle Tom, sell-out, etc.” The words may not be spoken aloud, but they will be thought, and that is my ‘dark reality’.

So yeah, Chuck is right; that last sentence does some it all up nicely.

  6. You are a racist for implying that all welfare queens are of one ethnic group and all people putting themselves through trade school are of another ethnic group. You’re also a racist for using culture as a proxy for ethnic groups containing multiple cultures, some destructive, some productive.

  7. Profanity has it’s place.
    Here it was oh-so appropriate.
    I am not a racist, I am a culturalist.
Thank you for cementing a reply that so many of us are trying to form when responding to the shrill and shocking non-arguments of the left.
I love the ‘race card’ idea, and will work on one with a Canadian flavor!

  8. Eddie Bear is awesome! I also enjoyed your last sentence. I love Doubleplusundead because of their coarsness, heck, many times your last sentence is their first.

  9. When I see Obama I hate black people. When I see Condi rice, I love black people. Am I a racist or not? I can’t figure it out.

  10. I love the race card. I think I’ll print a few of these off and keep them in my wallet for the next time some lefty who is losing an arguement pitches the worn out racist arguements. Here, I’ll say, save your breath. Next time just use this!

  11. The formula has been the same since the cultural marxist revolution marched off the campus and into the media in 1962:

RACIST = ANYONE WHO POINTS OUT ENDEMIC FALLACY IN LEFTIST DOGMA

RACISM = ANY EFFECTIVE COUNTERREVOLUTIONARY REASONING

And, yeah, I have learned that my belief and practice in the 2nd Amendment, and my fortune to live in a “Red” State, has helped preserve my ability to exercise my 1st Amendment.
