I’m seeing a sad trend progressing in this blog circle, including Free Dominion, Levant, 5FeetofFurry, etc.

Lemire didn’t only file a complaint against Warman and let it fly. He worked diligently, kept adding more and more info to bolster the complaint, he responded to a multitude of motions and issues, tracked down documents, researched, etc.

As an employee working on the periphery of the Commission’s operations, I can state unequivocally that they were not swayed at all by the blog posts. The fact of the matter is that every defense Warman had to the complaint, Mr. Lemire had tracked down and countered it with a ton of existing precendents in recent Warman v. cases. The Commission is moving ahead with the complaint because there is NO way out of it for them.

They gave Warman EVERY chance to try to get it thrown out, but Marc used their past rulings against them as well as Tribunal precendent. He put their backs to the wall, and all they could do was turn around and bend over.

Seems to be that it was actually Marc Lemire that brought Warman’s actions to light. All levant and others did was comment on what Lemire did.

It was Lemire three years ago who filed the CHRC complaint against Warman. not Levant or Shaidle.

As little use as I have for that prick he also he the right to free speech. A HRC charge against him is just as bad as against you or Ezra. A better way to handle him would be to cause him so much shame for his actions he will not want to be seen in public. Finding something that would do that to one as thick headed as him will be hard.
