I read this the other day on some gossip blog and thought to myself, here’s a guy who actually gets it. No pontificating, no soap box; just a straightforward answer to a setup question.

I’ve heard and liked him once or twice, but never bothered otherwise with him. Tonight, I’m going out to buy a John Mayer CD - he deserves a closer listen.

It boggles the mind that any celebrity would open their mouth and alienate 50% of their possible audience by taking a political stand, left OR right.
