Fort Hood: Where the blame belongs
It’s been two days since the murders at the Fort Hood military post in Texas. I am supposed to be away from this blog – away from all things political and/or stressful, like acts of terror – yet here I am. I can’t ignore this, like I’m trying to do with the healthcare vote in Congress.
The shooting spree at Fort Hood by Maj. Nadal Malik Hasan has me seething, and doing something that may shock my regular readers: Blaming Bush.
Bush’s policy of befriending and appeasing Islam in the wake of September 11 led directly to the rampage on Thursday. If he had taken a strong stand on the domestic front; if he had marginalized the Islamic community away from security-sensitive positions, 12 soldiers, one civilian and one unborn child would be alive in Texas tonight.
One must look to the 2003 case of Sgt. Hasan Akbar, who fragged his own men in the 101st in Kuwait. Hasan must be Arabic for “coward who kills his own brothers”.
During WWII we had many German and Japanese Americans fighting for America, but they did it in exclusive regiments away from other servicemen, and under the watchful eyes of their commanders. To do so now would be considered racist, and being branded as a racist in the 21st century is akin to being branded as a witch in the 17th. It will destroy you.
Most of those tried and killed as witches were innocent, or they were healers doing their best for their communities. What of us “racists” who would toss the enemy out of positions of authority or national security? Will we, too be vindicated by history?
For those who would appease Islam at this time of war, I say take your malleus malificarum and shove it up your politically correct ass.

Words fail me on so many levels. “don’t jump to conclusions.” The facts are clear and obvious. No leap required.
The unfortunate reality is political correctness. Even with blatant anti-american, pro-islamofascist speech and actions, we in the military are restrained from taking action until something happens. We are not unlike the police; a threat is just words. Until the deed is done, the police will only wait.
This gives more weight to why every citizen should be armed: When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
It’s sad that you had to have circumstances force you to speak out, but many are glad to see you back. At least I am.

This is what you get with political correctness and we’ll see this again.

I am not privy to all that is going on with you, but know that you are missed and well loved within our community of righty bloggers. Don’t stay away a moment longer than you must, for selfishly, we need you.
God Bless.

The murders were heinous and should be dealt with in the courts to bring justice to the victims and those who loved them.
However, Ms. RightGirl - you have displayed some very disturbing bigotry and hatred, and are propelling Islamophobia.
“Marginalize??” The Human Rights Commission would have a field day with people sharing your sentiments. It’s no wonder that minorities are discriminated against in the workplace and school systems.
Get real. Muslims aren’t out to get you. Yes, a small majority may be crazed lunatics, but your prejudice and discrimination towards an entire community is uncalled for.

correction, that should have read:
“Yes, a small *minority* may be crazed lunatics, but your prejudice and discrimination towards an entire community is uncalled for.

“Lest we forget.” Our world is far from secure, and safe. Nasties slice through all religions, taking advantage of them all. They cast fear amongst the common folk, consumed with darkness and death! Darkness, is caused by a lack of light…….death caused by a lack of life. Fear is caused by a lack of Faith. Dig deep, focus on the BIG picture. Bullies pick out the weaklings……….?

At least someone took the time to name the real victims. Not excuse the Monster.

Dear Concerned Canadien,
Please stick your head back in the sand. While not all muslims are crazed lunatics, a significant proportion either are, or more accurately, they do nothing to stop the crazies. As it has been said, all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. And the vast majority of muslims do nothing; some even support their radicals.
Maybe you are looking forward to dying for merely being an infidel, or living on your knees, servicing the muslim world. I do not, and will not submit. Or are you already muslim, so you look forward to owning the world and taking us all back to the 7th century AD?
Please explain to me how these islamofascists are any different than the “master race” of Hitler’s Germany, or of Tojo’s Japan. Same thing, only the names and faces have changed, and now they cite a 7th century lifestyle as the ideal.
We have many bleeding heart, non thinkers like you in the US. We call them liberals. And those who submit are sheeple, being lead to the pen for shearing and slaughter. THe unfortunate reality for you is that there are people like me in the Canadian Forces who stand between you and the muzzie wackjobs. They are the ones who allow you to take than next breath of air, not the civil rights commission or any other bureaucratic cesspool occupant.
Have a nice day, eh.

Ft Hood Shooter Nidal Hasan on Obama’s Security Task Force
Now we have a little insight into why Obama said to not jump to conclusions about Nidal Hasan and why Congressmen were not briefed before the press leak.
This murdering Muslim Terrorist who killed and wounded the soldiers and civilians at Ft Hood, Texas was an advisor to Obama’s Homeland Security team. Look on page 29 of the Homeland Security Institute link below. Listed as Task Force Event Participants*
How many more skeletons are in the cupboard?
Who else is there in the government or its numerous advisors or Czars that will harm our country and citizens?

Thanks, as always, for your rightful criticism of Islam. I do have to say though that I don’t believe there were any restrictions on Germans serving in the U.S. military in WWII. The Japanese were properly allowed to serve far away from the Pacific theater however.

Right Girl, thanks so much for publishing the names.
We do need to get a much closer feel for the fact that Hasan took people from us, and to get more in touch with the humanity we all share. Names of the fallen help.
This is horrific.

RM,
I’m not happy about this turn of events and it’s clear that this cover up is about PCness and all that blather, the front page of the document says the following:
“At no time has Nidal Hasan been affiliated with HSPI or The George Washington University. He has never served as an HSPI Task Force Member, briefer, or featured speaker at an HSPI event.
HSPI’s Presidential Transition Task Force is not and was not affiliated with any Administration; and was created prior to the election.”
His name does indeed show up.
Maybe I’m just overtired and overtorqued at the moment. It’s been a whirlwind in my house lately. But is participation in the role of attendee the same as “advisor” to an organization that is not even associated with the Administration?
