Sunday schools teach hymns and Bible stories. Hebrew schools teach language and history. Muslim schools?

So-called ‘weekend schools’ for Muslim pupils as young as six also teach that the penalty for gay sex is execution and that ‘Zionists’ are plotting to take over the world for the Jews.

One set textbook challenges youngsters to list the ‘reprehensible’ qualities of Jews.

Another for six-year-olds asks them to answer what happens to someone who dies who is not a believer in Islam. The answer being looked for is ‘hellfire’.

So what disgusting tribal backwater is all this taking place in?

The United Kingdom, of course!

Thankfully, students are also being taught how to discuss differing points of view and debate relative merits.

For acts of ‘sodomy’, children are told that the penalty is death and it states a difference of opinion whether this should be done by stoning, or burning with fire, or throwing over a cliff.

As for the anti-semitism that exists within Islam, it’s good to know that the Saudis want to make sure we understand that their Jew-hating is all done in context:

Referring to the lesson that tasks children to list the ‘reprehensible qualities of the Jews’, in a letter to the BBC, the Saudi ambassador said it was ‘dangerously deceptive and misleading to address such texts and discuss them out of their overall historical, cultural and linguistic contexts’.

And then there’s the icing on the cake: Shoukri demanded a written apology from Rabbi Hoch. Hoch claimed Shoukri was insufficiently concerned about Galloway’s anti-semitism and harassment of Jewish students on campus. To show just how concerned he was, Shoukri demanded the rabbi shut up.

That’s how it works back in Egypt, where Shoukri comes from. Anti-Semitic groups get official podiums from which to speak, and Jews are silenced. But that’s not how we do it in Canada.

Or at least it’s not supposed to be. The president of York University’s student federation likes to roll Egyptian-style, too. Last year he was part of a group of pro-Palestinian radicals who swarmed the Jewish students on campus, who had to barricade themselves into a closed room for safety. The student president’s name is Krisna Saravanamuttu, and on Wednesday night when he saw Jewish students protesting against Galloway – he let out a torrent of swears against them.

Ofcom has ruled that Islam Channel, a London-based broadcaster, broke the broadcasting code for advocating marital rape, violence against women and describing women who wore perfume outside of the home as “prostitutes”.

Five programmes broadcast on the satellite TV channel were ruled to be in breach of broadcasting guidelines, the media regulator said today. Ofcom launched its investigation into the programmes, which aired in 2008 and 2009, following a report by the Quilliam thinktank that was published in March.

In a programme first broadcast in April last year, Ofcom ruled that the Islam Channel host Nazreen Nawaz condoned marital rape when she said: “And really the idea that a woman cannot refuse her husband’s relations this is not strange to a Muslim because it is part of maintaining that strong marriage. But it shouldn’t be such a big problem where the man feels he has to force himself upon the woman.”

The channel also broke the broadcasting code by encouraging violence against women, in a Q&A session on marital violence, and for labelling women who wore perfume “prostitutes”.

If I were in charge of Ofcom, I would make it so that these tidbits were carried on every station, every hour on the hour, just so people would know exactly what Islam stands for. The fact that Ofcom sees a problem with this, while pandering politicians don’t, baffles me. Ofcom are the only ones in the UK with any common sense.

Everything that can be said on the subject of the Cordoba Initiative in Manhattan - steps from the vilest display of Islamic supremacy ever seen on Western soil - has pretty much already been said.

Four Christian missionaries who were arrested at the Dearborn Arab International Festival were arraigned Monday morning in 19^th District Court on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.

Negeen Mayel, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla and David Wood, members of a group called “Acts 17 Apologetics,” entered not guilty pleas.

The missionaries were arrested June 18 while handing out Christian literature and videotaping themselves. The group said they were arrested over religion, but police insist that it’s not true.

I need a ruling on whether social networking is even halal in the first place. I have a feeling these inbreds would be in for a shock if some imam issued a fatwa against the use of the internet for anything other than jihad.

A spokeswoman for Facebook said that the Islamic pages, which included ‘I love Mohammed’ and ‘Quran Lovers’, were taken down because they were being used to ’spam’ users, which is against the company’s policy.

Pregnant Muslim women who fast during Ramadan are likely to have smaller babies who are more prone to learning disabilities, a new study has found.

Researchers from the U.S said this trend was most marked if mothers-to-be fasted early on in their pregnancy and during the summer when longer days meant they went more hours without food.

Further to my podcast last week, which began as an argument with fellow blogger Skippy Stalin, the Islamic rape of boys and girls is a standard cultural practice. Our Catholic church has a problem with repressed homosexual clergy engaging in sex with boys despite this being culturally and legally verboten. Whereas in Islam, it’s all good.

The argument I had with Skippy was that apparently, I wasn’t screaming enough about the rape of kids in the Church, even though I repeatedly pointed out the rape of kids in Islam, therefore making me a hypocrite. Or something. My argument was that in our Judeo-Christian culture, kidfucking=bad, but it Islam, kidfucking=business-as-usual. And that I therefore had every right to decry such a culture.

In The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan, Afghan journalist Najibullah Quraishi (Behind Taliban Lines) returns to his native land to expose an ancient practice that has been brought back by powerful warlords, former military commanders and wealthy businessmen. Known as “bacha bazi” (literal translation: “boy play”), this illegal practice exploits street orphans and poor boys, some as young as 11, whose parents are paid to give over their sons to their new “masters.” The men dress the boys in women’s clothes and train them to sing and dance for the entertainment of themselves and their friends. According to experts, the dancing boys are used sexually by these powerful men.

In detailed conversations with several bacha bazi masters in northern Afghanistan and with the dancing boys they own, reporter Quraishi reveals a culture where wealthy Afghan men openly exploit some of the poorest, most vulnerable members of their society.

“What was so unnerving about the men I had met was not just their lack of concern for the damage their abuse was doing to the boys,” Quraishi says. “It was also their casualness with which they operated and the pride with which they showed me their boys, their friends, their world. They clearly believed that nothing they were doing was wrong.”

Because nothing they’re doing IS wrong, in their culture. Which therefore makes the entire culture corrupt.

Hmmm… As someone who has dealt with chemical imbalances leading to depression and anxiety over the years, I’m not sure I want my own personal brand of crazy to be lumped in with Islam. Though when I think about it, wouldn’t you have to be crazy to subscribe to such a lark of a faith?

Attorneys for an Orchard Park man accused of beheading his wife want to pursue a psychiatric defense.

They’re asking the courts to give their client, 44-year-old Muzzammil Hassan, access to his bank accounts to pay for experts.

Investigators said Hassan beheaded his wife, Aasiya, in February of 2009.

In addition, he’s apparently suffering the ravages of Islamophobia.

Since we’re on the subject of various forms of madness, let’s look once again at the word “islamophobia”, shall we?

A phobia is an irrational fear - like of non-poisonous spiders, open spaces, enclosed spaces, or the number 13 (treskidekaphobia).

Islam indoctrinates its followers to run around the globe murdering people. Examples are September 11, Ecole Polytechnique, gay bashing in the Netherlands, the stoning of women in Somalia… the list goes on.

So is the fear of Islam really all that irrational? And if not, is there such a thing as “islamophobia”, since any fear of Islam is based in rational reasoning?

Laura Rosen-Cohen has an editorial in today’s National Post about the strange, masochistic need for the Jews to be liked by people who want to murder them.

Yasser Mohamed Shahade, a prayer leader who had been in the country for about two months and had been staying at the mosque, sexually battered the victim [aged 13] about 6 a.m., police say. Police were called about noon Sunday, and they responded to Tampa General Hospital, where the call came from, police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said. Well, his favorite hatemonger, Kathy Shaidle, writes further on the subject over at Examiner:

Brienholt notes that Muslim employment discrimination claims increased after the first World Trade Center attacks in 1993. He proposes two theories to explain why: the “Innocent Bystander” theory (Muslims felt distrusted and uncomfortable in American workplaces after both WTC attacks); and the “Political Islam” theory (Muslim activists are exploiting U.S. civil rights laws to push an extremist agenda).

He believes the “Political Islam” theory is the correct one, and that many Muslims are engaged in a non-violent campaign to spread extreme Islam through American workplaces as a sort of “stealth jihad” (to use scholar Robert Spencer’s expression for the phenomenon.)

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Well, we here in the West were warned that this would happen, and we’ve seen it with our own lyin’ eyes time and again, but yet the militant “refugees” continue to flood into our countries. We will pay and pay for perceived insults, and not nearly enough of us (exceptions like Maclean’s Magazine publisher Ken Whyte and free speech mouthpiece Ezra Levant, both here in Canada) are pushing back for fear of being called racists or of offending some oh-so-delicate Muslim sensibility.

Those pesky underprivileged “youths” of the Netherlands, living in penury with their designer branded sportswear. This clearly takes place in a shopping mall - I would be just as interested in identifying those that walked by and ignored the scene before them. At which point their children should be handed over to the thugs, and they should be forced to watch as no one comes to their aid.

Suzanne decided to do a little digging into the previous speeches made by Sheik Akrama Sabri of the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, that Blazing Cat Fur and I had the ahem, pleasure, of hearing speak on Sunday night.

Suzanne translates a piece from Richard Martineau about the Sheik’s belief that a man who forces himself on his wife isn’t committing “rape”:

Brothers and sisters, it is no secret than in the West, it is permitted to have a mistress. There are even laws that allow for the imprisonment of men who force their wives to have sexual relations with them when they don’t want any! But if the man sleeps with his mistress, there is no problem.

Those are the laws of the West. A man is considered a rapist just because he slept with his wife against her will.

This is an issue that has been in the news in recent days, because Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s passing of a law that legalizes forced marital sex. For many years now, Karzai has been considered an ally and a so-called “moderate*” because of his openness to democracy and his cooperation with Western forces in Afghanistan. Yet on the subject of sexual subjugation of women, he is no different from the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, an Islamic hardliner.

*There is no such thing as a “moderate” Muslim. I can produce a Leprechaun for you before you can produce a “moderate” Muslim for me.

And that really says something.

So I’m out for a jog earlier today, and I enter the cool down stretch. Whip out my BlackBerry to see what I’ve missed, and there’s an email from Blazing Cat Fur, AKA Kathy’s husband.

Uh huh. So weird point #1 is my friend’s husband asking me to be her proxy at an event.

Weird point #2, I’m going to go to an antisemitic pro-jihad fundraiser? WTF?

Oh man. So we go to this thing, for which Arnie forks out waaaay too much jizya at the door to get in. We are under-dressed, not having realized it’s a dinner event and not just speakers in an auditorium. Clearly, I left my hijab at home.

Anyway, it took forever to get underway. Dinner wasn’t served until after 8, and the speeches didn’t start until almost 9.

Weird point #3 was the totally pedestrian food. I figured since we were there, we would be treated to taboule, hummus, kibbe… something resembling anything remotely Middle Eastern. It was not to be. Hospital-style beef & chicken with steamed veggies. Iceberg salad. Blah. If we’re going to be all multi-culti, I at least want that kickass garlic sauce they put on shish taouk, dammit.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh AKrama Sabri, was a small unassuming man. He spoke Arabic, and from the little I understand I deduced that his English translator was leaving a lot of the juicy stuff out. All the Allah/Mohammad/Ummah/Kuffar stuff was left out, and a lot of peace/political intervention/cooperation stuff was highlighted. Hmmm. I guess that was Weird Point # 4. I am sending the recording off for a full translation. It may take a couple of weeks, but I’ll let you know what I find out.

Weird Point #5 & 5a (a tie) was the head of Palestine House telling us to vote Liberal, and Carolyn Parrish being in the audience. Arnie advises me she’s also on the donor roll for Mohammed El Masry’s new community paper, the Charger. I guess hating America isn’t enough for Parrish - she has to align herself with its enemies, too.

Then Mr. Fire and Brimstone, Bishop Atallah Hanna (Bishop of Sebastia of the Church of Jerusalem) hit the stage. A very imposing figure in his Orthodox black garb, he was also an extremely awe-inspiring speaker. If that man turned to me and told me I was going to Hell, I would simply nod meekly and accept my fate. Wow. I was informed by our table mate that his Arabic was “beautiful” and “flawless”.

This Orthodox Christian went on and on (and on) for a very long time - over an hour, I think. I understood him well enough, plus had the assistance of our table mate, to not need to know the full translation. He spoke of Israel being racist/apartheid/the usual. That those who criticize Israel are not antsemites, but are called such by people who are themselves racist antisemites. Wow, way to turn the tables, buddy. Joe Lieberman is a racist. Israelis are racist. Holland is racist. Jason Kenney is racist… you get the idea, right?

Weird point #6 was the enforcer goons at the table next to ours. I believe they were the Palestinian equivalent of Luca Brasi. Scarred faces, scarred knuckles, not a brain cell in the bunch. These guys were the, ahem, security force for the evening. Um, you have two eminent religious leaders visiting, and you’re putting these assholes in charge of their lives? Oh my.

As we got back in the car, I summed it all up by telling Arnie “Next time I pick the restaurant!”

Bonus Weird Point: The banquet opened with the Canadian National Anthem and the Palestinian National Anthem (can you have a national anthem if you don’t have a nation?). A few people half-heartedly mumbled Oh Canada. Yet NO ONE even hummed Biladi. Hmmm. Which, by the way, sounds very, very German/Nazi/Soviet in it’s triumphalism.

A Tunisian pilot who paused to pray instead of taking emergency measures before crash-landing his plane, killing 16 people, has been sentenced to 10 years in jail by an Italian court along with his co-pilot.

Islam and airplanes - always a deadly combination!

Why we even still bother speculating about its return to any form of sanity - let alone greatness - is beyond me.

An Islamic extremist who abused British soldiers during a homecoming parade has sparked further outrage after he was given 24-hour police protection.

Yousaf Bashir was part of a gang that hurled abuse at 200 members of the Royal Anglian Regiment as they marched through Luton last Tuesday after a second tour of duty in Iraq.

The moves comes after the semi-detached home Bashir shares with his parents was attacked on Friday.

Two downstairs windows and the glass in the front door were smashed, and the rear windows of two cars parked in the driveway were shattered.

Two police officers have been stationed in a marked car outside the property since the attacks and a CCTV camera has also been installed.

In the natural order of things, anyone who hates the country so much as to abuse its returning soldiers and scream for their deaths would be rightfully hounded out. In fact, his neighbors so objected to his disgusting behavior that they decorated their homes with Union Jacks in defiance of this Islamic pig.

A few windows get broken - in the UK that’s known as “the weekend” - and he gets round the clock protection.

So here’s where I start speculating: The damage was caused by him and his family to make them look like victims of the mythical “Islamophobia”. Eventually the cops will figure this out - but not before spending thousands of pounds on his protection. No charges will be laid, and no one will speak of it, lest it cause “strife” between sane people and Muslims.

Let me first make it clear that I do not believe in the banning of books. Not Mein Kampf, and not that piece of putrefying hatred called the Koran. All books have a place, even if it is only in history.

That said, if ever there was an argument for banning the Koran, this would be it.

When a war is being waged against your country, propaganda for the enemy is forbidden. It is a condition of victory. We have to come to terms with the fact that war has been foisted upon us. The strategy to oppose it is entirely different from what would apply in normal times.

Many people think the Koran is just another book, or just another religious text, or just another expression of one’s opinion. It is not. It is a casus belli from the Muslim standpoint, as are any goalposts that Muslims will gladly plant and move forward, in their strategy of conquest of kuffar territory.

As with Geert Wilders’ argument that if Mein Kampf can be banned for inciting hatred against Jews, so too should the Koran, this argument is good. It is sound. I don’t agree with the principle behind it, but I admit that it makes sense. Until such time as we can declare victory over our enemy and reassert our own cultural values, it seems ridiculous that we should be promoting and allowing the promotion of the very message that inflames our enemy to so much hatred.

A Pakistani man went on trial in France on Tuesday for setting his ex-girlfriend alight after she refused to marry him, in a case that rights groups are using as as a symbol of violence against women in poor neighbourhoods.

Amer Mushtaq Butt, 28, doused Chahrazade Belayni in petrol and set fire to her on the street as she was leaving her home in the under-privileged Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Marne in 2005.

She suffered third-degree burns on 60 percent of her body, fell into a coma and underwent many operations. Belayni, now 21, works for the police.

“I want him to pay for what he did, not for my sake but to show other girls who have problems with their partners that it’s possible to fight back and the justice system won’t abandon them,” she told reporters just before the trial opened.

Butt fled to Pakistan after the attack on Belayni but returned to France to hand himself in a year later. He has confessed to the attack and blamed it on an obsession with the young woman. He faces a maximum sentence of life in jail.

Reuters goes on to say how aggrieved these poor immigrants are, and how they kill and maim their women because they feel excluded from society. Tell ya what - I plan to exclude any fucker from my society who thinks it’s ok to set fire to his girlfriend. Not the other way around. Is there anything these “youths” won’t burn?

You can’t make this stuff up. In fact, if you tried, you’d be thrown in jail. The screaming banshees of “enlightened feminism” have fits of apoplexy anytime someone even infers that abortion might not be the best/only choice. They scream about The Patriarchy™ and the male domination of women’s bodies in Judeo-Christian societies. Yet if a brown person says it’s ok to rape and beat your wives, the crickets chirp in the deafening silence from the women’s groups. After all, it’s his culture, and all foreign cultures are better than ours, so should therefore be universally respected.

A Muslim cleric has sparked outrage by telling his followers it is acceptable to rape and beat their wives.

Samir Abu Hamza, who runs an Islamic centre in Melbourne, ridiculed Australian laws banning forced sex within marriage.

Hamza told a male audience in Sydney: ‘Amazing, how can a person rape his wife?’

He added that wives must immediately respond to their husbands’ sexual demands.

The firebrand preacher also said a man was entitled to use ‘limited force’ as a last resort to punish a disobedient wife.

He explained: ‘After you have advised them for a long, long time, then you smack them, you beat them and - please brothers, calm down - the beating that the Muhammad showed is like the toothbrush that you use to brush your teeth.’
