On Thursday, President Barack Obama stated that he will not make a decision on Afghan troop levels until after the Thanksgiving holiday. This development came at the end of President Obama’s eight-day Asia tour, where he took time to stop at Osan Air Force Base in South Korea. While there, he remarked to 1,500 troops, “You guys make a pretty good photo op.”

That says a lot, doesn’t it? Upon examination, photo-ops certainly seem to be President Obama’s main concern. If you will recall, just a few weeks ago, Obama visited Dover Air Force Base in Delaware as some of our fallen servicemen were brought home to rest. For reasons unbeknownst to many, the president thought it would be appropriate to allow cameras at the event. Most families were made uneasy by this, and in fact, only one family allowed cameras to follow their proceedings.

Because of that, his visit came off as self-serving, especially when contrasted with former President George W. Bush’s visit to Fort Hood, where he insisted that no press be permitted.

The underlying point of all this, is that President Obama only seems interested in our armed servicemen and women when he can use them as a prop to get his picture taken or to get himself on television.

It has been weeks since General Stanley McChrystal requested an additional 40,000 troops for the effort in Afghanistan, and in the process making it emphatically clear that this was indeed necessary, claiming that the effort was not sustainable with current resources. On top of that, General McChrystal was only able to secure a 25-minute meeting to make the request in the first place.

Something is desperately wrong here.

Does anybody remember the campaign, where Obama insisted that Afghanistan was a top priority? The war we should be most focused on, if you will? What happened to that?

The answer to that is simple. It was nothing more than a campaign promise. It has become quite clear that our Commander-in-Chief clearly has no interest in our effort there, and by extension, it shows exactly what he actually thinks of our troops, which is, not much.

You have to pay attention to what Obama is saying here, and the words that he uses. He is saying he will not make a decision until after Thanksgiving. He’s not saying he won’t commit more troops until after then. This is nothing short of him saying “Yeah, I’m going to continue to put this off until at least after turkey is served.”

Brave sons and daughters dying over there on a daily basis, and our president is content to dither and play games with American lives and American security. This is clearly a tactic he is using in an effort to placate his left wing base, military advisors and cost to America be damned.

This man has already made his decision, and deep down we all know what it is. He may finally be forced at some point to send additional resources at some point, but he clearly has no real interest in doing so.

The only future Barack Obama is interested in is his own.

It’s been two days since the murders at the Fort Hood military post in Texas. I am supposed to be away from this blog – away from all things political and/or stressful, like acts of terror – yet here I am. I can’t ignore this, like I’m trying to do with the healthcare vote in Congress.

The shooting spree at Fort Hood by Maj. Nadal Malik Hasan has me seething, and doing something that may shock my regular readers: Blaming Bush.

Bush’s policy of befriending and appeasing Islam in the wake of September 11 led directly to the rampage on Thursday. If he had taken a strong stand on the domestic front; if he had marginalized the Islamic community away from security-sensitive positions, 12 soldiers, one civilian and one unborn child would be alive in Texas tonight.

One must look to the 2003 case of Sgt. Hasan Akbar, who fragged his own men in the 101st in Kuwait. Hasan must be Arabic for “coward who kills his own brothers”.

During WWII we had many German and Japanese Americans fighting for America, but they did it in exclusive regiments away from other servicemen, and under the watchful eyes of their commanders. To do so now would be considered racist, and being branded as a racist in the 21^st century is akin to being branded as a witch in the 17^th. It will destroy you.

Most of those tried and killed as witches were innocent, or they were healers doing their best for their communities. What of us “racists” who would toss the enemy out of positions of authority or national security? Will we, too be vindicated by history?

For those who would appease Islam at this time of war, I say take your malleus malificarum and shove it up your politically correct ass.

On this, the 8th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the perpetrators of the massacre are whining about this mysterious “backlash” that never seems to materialize.

“I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every year,” said Nancy Rokayak, 45, of Charlotte, N.C., who covers her hair in public. “I feel on 9/11 others look at me and blame me for the events that took place.”

Rokayak, a U.S.-born convert, has four children with her husband, who is from Egypt, and works as an ultrasound technologist. She makes sure she is wearing a red, white and blue flag pin every Sept. 11 and feels safer staying close to home.

Sarah Sayeed, 41, who lives in the Bronx, said that for a long time, she hesitated before going out on the anniversary. The morning the World Trade Center crumbled, she rushed to her son’s Islamic day school so they could both return home. The other women there warned that she should take off her headscarf, or hijab, for her own safety. She now attends an interfaith prayer event each Sept. 11, keeping her hair covered as always.

Listen, Islam, this day is not about your fears and needs. It is about the loss of life of those who were murdered in the name of your moongod and his pedophile prophet. You brought this thunder down upon yourselves, and if America were a less civilized society (say, like the countries you all sprang from) then you would have reason to fear walking down the street each day.

September 11th was perpetrated by Muslims, for Muslims, in the name of Allah (pigs be upon him). You have no right to be whinging about your own discomfort on this day. No right. If you had any decency at all, you would have walked away from your cult of sex and death, and embraced America. Instead you hide behind your hijabs and pretend that it’s all about you. It isn’t.

If the Uighurs are afraid of cultural genocide, and they are balking at large amounts of Han on their turf, then here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going rampaging through Scarborough to get rid of the vast amounts of Tamils that are “squeezing out” Canadians, committing “cultural genocide”. And it will be totally ok for me to do so, because just like we’re supposed to wail and weep for the poor Natives who were beat down by whitey, whitey is now getting beat down by everyone else. When I’m done with Scarborough, I’ll move on to Toronto’s ever-expanding Chinatown. And then maybe Little Bangladesh, which is eating Greektown around the edges.

According to Janet Napolitano, acts of terror like those committed on September 11, 2001 should be referred to as “man made disasters”. Try as I might, I cannot seem to figure out what common features those on America’s Wanted Terrorists list might have. I suppose that’s why I don’t work for the CIA, doing profiling. I feel as if I should see the link, and yet I don’t… Lemme think about it a while longer.

I am totally shaken. On the subway on my way over to feed Kathy’s cat while they’re away at a funeral, it finally happened. Some deranged 6th Century Mohammedan lost it and began screaming ALLAHU ACKBAR, calling everyone racists, and talking about Bin Laden and rising up.

Like good little sheep, someone pushed the yellow passenger alarm, stopping the train in the station. The little mid-train conductor man stepped out of his booth to see what was happening. We tried explaining to him that there was a potential terrorist on the train wit us, to call the police. Thew little Asian fellow appeared not to understand a damn word we were saying, decided there was nothing to see, and got back on the train.

Meanwhile Mohammed continued to rage about Allah on the platform where many of us stood. (obviously I got off the train - I wasn’t going to stay stuck on there with an Islamic madman). No security came. The train left with Mohammed pounding on the closed doors, saying he had a metropass and a right to free speech (the irony was not lost on me). When the next train came, he got on it.

I would like to know if this is part of the city of Toronto’s protocol to deal with a terrorist threat on the underground. This guy was a lunatic who was unarmed - what if the next one is packing? Will the same level of incoherence apply to TTC staff?

A woman accused of helping recruit dozens of female suicide bombers looked into the camera and described the process: trolling society for likely candidates and then patiently converting the women from troubled souls into deadly attackers.

The accounts, in a video released Tuesday by Iraq police, offer a rare glimpse into the networks used to find and train the women bombers who have become one of the insurgents’ most effective weapons as they struggle under increasing crackdowns.

In a separate prison interview with The Associated Press, with interrogators nearby, the woman said she was part of a plot in which young women were raped and then sent to her for matronly advice. She said she would try to persuade the victims to become suicide bombers as their only escape from the shame and to reclaim their honor.

As brainwashed as the Islamic ummah is, it would be very easy to convert these women into murderers for the sake of honor. After all, if your only other choice is having your father/uncle/brother kill you for adultery, then why not go out with a bang?

Well here’s my question; where was the world’s outrage when a bomb from Gaza landed mere meters from my best friend’s house? Where was the world’s outrage at the Israeli civilians who were being “targeted”—if one can call blind firing of rockets into purely civilian areas actual targeting—for the past month? Is it all right to bomb Israeli citizens intentionally and wrong to bomb buildings in which Hamas terrorist leaders are holed up continuing their terror after warning the civilians to leave?

Where was the world while my best friend’s been “fixing up” her bomb shelter and worrying about her sons’ day care, because it doesn’t have one? Those children are not important…

…But how dare the world’s media use such biased coverage as to interview a Palestinian woman living in the hell that is now Gaza without talking also to an Israeli woman trying to save her kids? How can any use of force against Israel be counted and reported in said media as everyday behavior but a 5-day offensive to make that behavior stop be reported as unwarranted violence? Why must my country be asked repeatedly to be the lamb to the slaughter whenever it is faced with attack?

As usual most of the world shows such a blatant double standard with respect to Israel and frankly, everyone else that we tend not to even notice it and on occasion, like Hitler’s ‘big lie’ tend to think there must be something to it for so many to buy into it. In a way I suppose there is. Oil money and fear of terrorism by immigrants to western nations. But here are a few links which offer some clear as day thought on the matter. Of course, when the UN passed a resolution against Israel as the worlds worst actor in terms of women’s rights it was so laughable that most ignored it. But now we are down to the existential.

Next an op ed from the National Post on same subject. Pithy and spot on. It’s not that this is profound or hugely insightful. It’s that a Canadian national newspaper has the courage to make a clear moral stand. I wonder if we could find this in a British major paper or any other European one. It is worth reading even if most of us already know these facts.

Meanwhile the religion of peace advances it’s cause for world domination while nobody much notices.

The Swat Valley in Pakistan has been pretty much taken over by Taliban/Al Queda. A close look at a map and some thinking about US Canadian operations in Afghanistan plus rapidly rising tensions between nuclear neighbors Pakistan and India will show why this story deserves attention. Pakistan is losing a lot of territory to the Islamists. They are moving troops away from the allied areas and re enforcing borders with India. This creates opportunity for Islamist expansion on that front. I recently spent close to a hundred dollars I really do not have to buy a decent world map. It may have been the worlds first sub prime map loan actually. Who knew in high school physical geography would actually matter.

Also Stratfor reports more deadly mortar attacks by Islamist forces in Somalia killing ten people today alone. The amusingly named MILF continues to attack bomb and spread hatred and fear in the Philippines and the western media either ignores it or claims its a separatist group. It is not. It is a group of Islamic supremacy.

This article about Russia’s approach to Islam is quite good as well. It explains the little known use by Russia of Islamic proxy’s. The US likely did this as well during the cold war. Chechen’s where most likely funded by the US to annoy and distract resources of the Soviets during the cold war and we all know about Afghanistan and the Mujahadeen proxies for the US. However what should be evident by now to all of us is that this backfires. Not just sometimes but all the time to most of the world. Even Pakistan and Iran have used Islam as the tie that binds disparate tribes to try and create a national identity. We see how well that works in both places. Well, I suppose in a way you can say it does.

This is a more difficult post to write than the last one. This one means a wake up for me and many others who so far have managed to treat world events as academic. The realm of debate and moral and ethical games.

Israel has retaliated against Gaza by air strikes against military targets and limiting civilian damage to the best of its capabilities. Many posts will argue the rights and wrongs of it so no need for more of that here. I’m sure the vast vast majority have already made up their minds as to who is right and wrong and why.

I am writing on another aspect. Strategy and outcome.

So far, Islamist forces world wide (and Gaza is no exception) have overwhelmingly chosen to go after the softest targets possible and the ones which would garner the most outrage and horror. It is not at all unusual for example, for a Palestinian receiving free and excellent medical care in Israel to return to the hospital wrapped in explosives with hopes of murdering the very doctors nurses and destruction of the facilities which had treated her. We also have seen attacks going back decades in Argentina, France, and recently Bombay targeting Jews with no strategic value whatsoever but because they are Jews. More recently, The UK, Germany Scandinavia and frankly much of Europe where Muslims are moving in large numbers in the past year has seen anti semitic violent attacks grow.

Hamas will ‘retaliate’ (I put retaliate of course in quotes as the Israeli action was in fact retaliation for over 800 rockets fired at Israeli civilians over the past few years most of which was during an agreed ‘cease fire’) as will Hizbolah, Al Queda/Taliban and any number of Islamic groups which as usual will create a new name for themselves for each attack by targeting easy to access unsuspecting targets of Jews. It could as easily be Ottawa as Bombay or Pembrook Ontario as London England or Ipswich Mass. as easily as Madrid Spain. The only thing these attacks will have in common, will be that it is against Jewish people.

If you live as a Jew in most western nations, it is against the law to arm yourself. not just for jews of course but for all. The police or more likely politicians would prefer you get killed cleanly and quickly then get the police and ambulance to the scene so City councils can show how efficient they are. Outside of small pockets of the USA where there is still some sense of individual right to life and self defense this is the norm. However given the history of Islamic terrorist movements and the ascendancy of same, the moral relativism of the modern left who dominate the civil service of most western nations and the consequent ethical ambiguousness which has made terrorists the victims and victims the aggressors, Jewish people may want to start thinking about their own security. Predicting the future at some levels is imposable. At others is as easy as looking at the past.

Let’s have a look at what the official reaction has been from various bodies in order to better understand how officialdom may react to the deaths of Jews by Muslim attackers in their own cities and nations.

So from this we get a fairly clear idea how our leaders will react to terrorist attacks against Jewish targets. A few words careful not to offend Islamic terrorists. Hence the responsibility ends where it should begin. In the hands of each individual Jewish person to decide how exactly they should protect themselves. The state will not be able to do it nor has the will.

Perhaps the radical sounding words of the founder of the JDL, Rabbi Meir David Kahane don’t sound so radical now. “Every Jew a .22″.

Frankly, I think a .45 would make a lot more sense.

Before I post the article it might be worth mentioning a few things as preface to those not as obsessed as I on watching groups like Taliban etc. The Taliban have had a campaign on as long as they have existed to maintain the Islamic idea that women should never be taught anything other than Koran and have in fact already blown up a large number of schools which dared teach females. As recently the Taliban issued a warning about the non playing or performing of music and shortly thereafter murdered 7 musicians, this is no idle threat. They have already murdered women who go to schools as we have seen also in Algeria and other nations under siege by Islamics or in already Islamic states. For those of you interested in the subject of women and Islam here is a truly excellent video by women who are dealing with the subject.

The video linked to above contains no graphic images whatsoever. It is just a set of short speeches by various activists including the most excellent Dr. Wafa Sultan. However I find it very disturbing and difficult to watch because of the information revealed so be warned. This video about women in Afghanistan however does contain graphic images. Also I have talked with a number of soldiers who have done tours in Afghanistan and I can assure all of you what is revealed in these two videos falls far far short of the horrors done to people in general by Taliban and women in particular. Most of what was reported to me, was beyond my own imagination for cruelty.

Taliban threaten to kill Pakistani schoolgirls: Officials

ISLAMABAD:Taliban extremists in Pakistan’s troubled northwest Swat valley have banned girls from attending school, threatening to kill any female students, officials said Thursday.

The threat was delivered this week by local Taliban commander Shah Durran in an address carried on an illegally-run radio station in the area, local officials told AFP.

“You have until January 15 to stop sending your girls to schools. If you do not pay any heed to this warning, we will kill such girls,” one official quoted the commander as saying.

“We also warn schools not to enrol any female students; otherwise, their buildings will be blown up.”

The mountainous Swat valley was until last year a popular tourist destination featuring Pakistan’s only ski resort.

But the region has been turned into a battleground since radical cleric Maulana Fazlullah, who has links to Pakistan’s Taliban movement, launched a violent campaign for the introduction of Islamic Sharia law in the valley.

Durran said local Taliban leaders were determined not to allow girls to attend school, saying: “We want to enforce the true Sharia in the area — for this, we are fighting and laying down our lives.”

Swat residents said Taliban fighters had already destroyed scores of government-run schools, leading some to set up private schools in their homes to educate girls.

An official at the Pakistani education ministry said there are about 1,580 schools registered in Swat — once known for its top-flight schools.

But the official, Naeem Khan, said: “Already Taliban militants have destroyed 252 schools, mainly those where girls and boys were studying together.”

Education has suffered badly in Swat as a result of the ongoing fighting between Taliban-linked militants and security forces, with only a handful of schools still open in the region’s main city Mingora, Khan said.

The government had reached a deal with the rebels in May to gradually pull out troops and introduce an Islamic justice system in exchange for an end to rebel attacks, but the violence eventually resumed.

I’m sure that at some point, someone will come along and try to convince me and anyone else who reads this post that the past two decades rampant Islamist violence is due to a few “extremists” who have nothing do to with True Islam.

That’s rubbish. Muslims everywhere own the blame for the torture-murders of Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg and their unborn child. They have spent decades silently accepting the growing Islamist movement. They attend the mosques where the Imams preach death to Jews and the rest of the infidels and say nothing. They give to charities that fund killers. They sit in silence as news report after news report comes in from yet another bloody scene of Islamist violence and they do not rouse themselves. They allow CAIR to speak for them with nary a peep of protest.

An investigation into terrorism recruiting among young Somalis leads to Minnesota. Shirwa Ahmed of Minneapolis is believed to have killed himself in a suicide bombing in Somalia last month. His high school pictures show a clean cut young man and neighbors at his Minneapolis apartment say lately 26-year-old Shirwa Ahmed had a thick beard.

“He doesn’t talk to people,” one neighbor said.

The neighbor added he is stunned that Shirwa Ahmed was apparently killed after returning to Somalia and blowing himself up in a suicide attack. No one answered the door at Ahmed’s family’s apartment. Neighbors say the FBI has been interviewing family and friends.

Time to say it again for those who haven’t been paying attention: Islam is a cult of sex and death, and its followers have NO redeeming qualities. None. Their religion teaches them to lie to us infidels. In Canada, Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant - both successful, suspiciously Jewish (or Jewish sounding) men - get accused of hate crimes and dragged through a high-cost, no-win situation. People like Rev. Stephen Boisson, who quote Leviticus because it’s their fucking job to do so get persecuted and finally forced to renounce their faith, because they committed a hate crime according to the Marsupial Magistrates. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars they may not have to defend themselves against Orwellian thought crimes.

But when a Jihadi-humping Muslim bombs a Jewish school in the name of Allah in Canada, he doesn’t get hit with a hate crime. No, he gets a measly four years in prison, cut down to 10 months thanks to our absurd “time served” laws. Even though the judge admitted it was an act of “terrorism” he gets just four years.

I assume that was all negotiated by a taxpayer funded public defender, unlike what those accused of Section 13 thought crimes get.

So remember kids - if you bomb a Jewish school in the name of Allah, you get 4 years and a public defender. But if you write about people who bomb Jewish schools in the name of Allah, you commit a hate crime and will be destroyed by the Marsupials.
